Pro/donate version doesn't have that problem
I use the Root version.
I use the Root version.
Yes, but the donate version.............
MIUI is so damn ugly.
Really depends on person. I've heard many who loved it, but as many as I heard hating it. I myself like it.. Just about trying it out yourself to see if you like it.
That app is kind of annoying if you have a shit load of apps installed, and trying to restore them. You have to manually hit "Install" and "Ok" for EVERY FUCKING APP! Takes forever.
The paid version of that app just installs the apps and restores data without having to click Install.
I live in one of the top 12 or so largest cities in America and we don't even have 4G yet... It is in like a few larger cities but it is also in some smaller cities. I am really curious how they determine where they put towers up at.
Agree'd, kinda. I live near Baltimore and that's a rather big city. From what I understand, they have 4G. From what I also understand, they get FIOS, and we aren't because there "aren't enough people interested"..

A proper backup system should be a part of android. Hopefully something comes with ICS.

I don't know if I'm incredibly late, but I just heard that Samsung has temporarily "stopped" the sales of Galaxy Tab in Australia following the lawsuit from Apple.
I don't know if I'm incredibly late, but I just heard that Samsung has temporarily "stopped" the sales of Galaxy Tab in Australia following the lawsuit from Apple.
First I've heard of this, but I'm really sick of Apple shoving a law-suit up everyone's ass because they have competing products. I'm glad to see that some company (Google?) is taking them to court and having "App Store" removed as their trademark, saying it's too broad to be considered their words. From my opinion, Apple thinks they are the best around because they were first, and they have pretty software that took 4 versions TO GET FOLDERS, and I'm sick of it.

I wish CM7 stable would come for the Galaxy S2..
I wish CM7 stable would come for the Galaxy S2..
It's stable enough for day to day usage.
It's stable enough for day to day usage.
does all the stuff work? (WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Camera with HD recording etc.. you get the point) also, can it be normally updated using some app (I heard it has a built in updater) or would I have to reinstall everything each time? Sorry for the dumb questions, I'm way too new to all this Android stuff

You can update it via ROM Manager without the need to wipe with the nightly builds of CM7.

MIUI sure is nice
MIUI sure is nice
Hell no.
Okay, no more opinions are allowed in the thread :v:
MIUI doesn't look bad, but in my opinion it kinda looks like iOS, but improved.
Is there an MIUI ROM for the Blade? I'd like to give it a look.
Is there an MIUI ROM for the Blade? I'd like to give it a look.
No, there won't be a port/official release until ZTE releases a patch to the RIL framework. (whatever that means :v:)
No, there won't be a port/official release until ZTE releases a patch to the RIL framework. (whatever that means :v:)
It means there won't ever be a proper MIUI port.
