Go to any hotel and say your uncle lost it while he was staying there. Phone chargers are the thing most commonly left behind in Hotels, so they usually just have a big bag full of them. It's just a matter of identifying a charger that will work with it. (This is assuming that Hotels work the same way in Singapore as America)
http://lifehacker.com/5454709/replace-your-lost-cellphone-charger-for-free Almost word for word.
What would you guys say the best ROM for the SGS2 is at the moment? I am running Cognition S2 but there isn't much different from stock that I can see apart from the lack of most Samsung apps and widgets.

Are there any good roms I can install after the Darky's rom? It is laggy, crashy, unstable and bad My battery life also became worse [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Oh, there are 2.3.5 CM7 Nightly builds. If I have flashed a custom core, will simple recovery wipe and zip install work with CM7 [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] I've got this awful 2.3.4 Rom with JVQ core
When will MIUI rom for GSII be released?
When will MIUI rom for GSII be released?
Just use the beta version. I'm on it and it's fine.
Just use the beta version. I'm on it and it's fine.
Someone said its not very stable?
Someone said its not very stable?
What did I just say? :v:
Oh, there are 2.3.5 CM7 Nightly builds. Unless that's not what you're talking about. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline]
So let me get this clear. When you root your phone you lose warranty, but you can customize it completely?
I'm pretty sure it was possible to get rid of root and therefore have a stock phone, but some phones with unlockable bootloaders might be impossible to relock for warranty purposes.
What did I just say? :v:
Hmmm, what will the full version have?

If you don't care for using an external SD then just download the nightly, go to recovery, wipe system, data, cache and if applicable datadata in mounts in storage and then flash the nightly. Unless that's not what you're talking about.
That's only for Droid phones. Him saying he's on darky's rom is a clear indication that he owns a Galaxy S. So it's painfully obvious that it isn't what he's talking about.
Hmmm, what will the full version have?
What are you on about?
Hmmm, what will the full version have?
Honestly it's quite fine at the moment. It just doesn't have some features implemented, but for daily usage it should be fine.

Might come in handy someday... :v:
]What's an essential list of apps to have?
I went for: - Lookout (https://www.mylookout.com/) - Seekdroid (http://www.seekdroid.com/) Both well worth teh pennies :P - bought them for my Galaxy S (Am upgrading to Galaxy II next week) and have to say that they're totally vital. I've lost my phone twice and found it with Seekdroid. As for Lookout, it's kind of expensive and I've never really seen it be of any use - but at least it seem to be scanning my apps when I install them :D
Adding to the post above me: Hearing Saver is a handy free app if you often listen to music, but would like the volume to be in a preset state when you plug in the headphones or when you have them unplugged.

Tasker is awesome, have it set to automate a whole bunch of stuff.
Honestly it's quite fine at the moment. It just doesn't have some features implemented, but for daily usage it should be fine.
What is it missing then? And HOW DO I FLASH MIUI. I HAVE NO IDEA. PLEASE GIVE ME BOXES FOR MY LOW INTELLIGENCE.
What is it missing then? And HOW DO I FLASH MIUI. I HAVE NO IDEA. PLEASE GIVE ME BOXES FOR MY LOW INTELLIGENCE.
If reading the MIUI thread doesn't make you realize exactly how then stock rom is the only rom for you. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline]
Install instructions: - Reboot to CWM - if you are coming from other rom (full wipe): wipe /system, /cache, /data and Dalvik-cache - upgrade: wipe /system - install zip from SD-card, select MIUI-1.X.X-beta.zip

If reading the MIUI thread doesn't make you realize exactly how then stock rom is the only rom for you. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline]
Sounds complex.
iPhone uses a micro-sim. You're gonna need to make/buy a converter.
Just checked, my iPhone uses a regular SIM, from what I can tell. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] But I could be wrong.
Just checked, my iPhone uses a regular SIM, from what I can tell. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] But I could be wrong.
Ah, then it must be only iPhone 4 that uses a micro-sim.
Sounds complex.
Is this a serious post?
Is this a serious post?
Yes. Never installed a rom before. I'm afraid of bricking. The most I did was to root my phone.
Yes. Never installed a rom before. I'm afraid of bricking. The most I did was to root my phone.
Ok well, if those instructions sounded complex you should leave your phone with the stock rom. That's actually as basic as it can get. Back when CM7 i9000 was in its infancy you had to flash 2.2. Then you needed to flash speedmod. Then you needed to wipe the system, data, cache and datadata. Then you went to ODIN and flashed the seperate CM7 kernel in ODIN. Then finally you went to recovery and flashed the CM7 zip followed by a wipe of data and cache. [editline]4th August 2011[/editline] Also you can't really "brick" a Samsung device. Worst case scenario is you have to flash back to stock with ODIN.
Yes. Never installed a rom before. I'm afraid of bricking. The most I did was to root my phone.
You can't really brick modern devices. That is what ClockWorkMod is for.
Yes. Never installed a rom before. I'm afraid of bricking. The most I did was to root my phone.
Install RomManager Flash shit from there You have to be able to do that. Also what faze said, it's hard to brick it. The only proper way to do it is by messing up the bootloader.
