I mostly rooted because the DHD's 1230 mAh battery is a piece of shit, thus I need to eke out whatever battery savings I can. EVO 3D seems to encounter a similar problem with battery life, but with such a big battery I don't know if that's actually true.
on a 3D screen, everything is rendered twice.
Even in 2D mode?
Where is the "official" download link for odin? Only thing I find, are random mediafire and depositfile uploads [editline]5th August 2011[/editline]
I just won a Facebook argument over how Android was better than iOS. The real killer for it was that after I showed the person reasons why it was better, he replied "ur just jealous bcuz u don't have an iPhone.". My reply? "I DO have an IPhone and android is better."
You are lucky, most people I know are COMPLETE Apple fanatics They have even told me, that the Android notification bar is stolen from Ios5

Amazing how many fucking summer signups they got, ruined the whole fucking network.

If the rep is clueless(many are) then just say sorry, hangup and call back until you get a smart one. It's back but it's definitely limited, so you should call in as soon as you can.

Someone else may have the better answer.

Apparently someone put a piece of foild into my phone's usb cable, which caused to shut down my PC because foil sucked more energy from usb hub, then it technically possible Sounds dumb, but that's real
Unable to charge my SGSII, it says the battery temperature is too high or too low. Oh well, guess I'll run Angry Birds for a while to get the thing boiling so I can charge it again. :v:

The solution to battery related heat issues is to take the phone's battery out and leave it on a room temperature table to cool down. Don't just start gaming, you'll kill your battery (spare parts will list it as overheating). But then again, I have a fan for it when it's charging or when I'm playing.

On that iDevice, what theme are you using? Or is it actually android running on it?
Please, please, please tell me you're joking? Pretty much everythread mentions it and it's dotted everywhere in the SGSII section. It's Clockworkmod recovery. You'll have to flash one of chainfire's kernels. This just happened to be on the first page of development: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1103399 Google is your friend too...
About that.... I bought a Transformer (+ keyboard/dock) for everyday use/college, and I love it. All of it. It's so awesome. What pisses me off is that Gameloft doesn't support the Transformer, and they've got some pretty good HD games that I'd love to play. From what I understand, the Transformer, hardware wise, is identical to the Xoom, which I believe they do support. I mean, it's not like the Transformer wouldn't be able to run any of the games they have, so what's the reason for not supporting it? I read that it was something about waiting until the Transformer got popular enough, but didn't it sell out on the first day, and it already has millions sold. /rant I just wanna play some cool games.

Also, before I flash MIUI, I have some questions. Do note that they are likely dumb, and you might not want to answer them. Do I have to wipe my phone memory before flashing? If I want to go back to a Stock rom, how do I do it? And non-MIUI questions: How do I get rid of the phone checking on my custom firmwares?
