If you want to replace your iPad go for ether the Xoom or the Galaxy Tab 10.1
If you want a tablet hybrid go for the Asus Transformer w/ dock

[editline]eeeeeeee[/editline]
Most if not all the honeycomb tablets have the same cpu (Tegra 2)
The Asus Transformer is actually 10 euros more expensive here (both 32GB wifi), so I'm going to watch some reviews.
[editline]blabla[/editline]
Decided to get the Transformer.

You misinterpreted my post. And I debated editing it earlier because I thought you would. It is not a widespread issue, so it can't be an issue with the device. If there was a problem with the device or a stock version of the device software then everyone using the device would experience it. Is that better? Or are you going to once again disregard it and try and present the idea that the device is flawed?
The first thread you linked to has NO replies after two months. Because he is one of the only if not the only person experiencing it with his device. That's a pathetic attempt at trying to present evidence to support your claim that is not an issue with your computer or your music.
The second one has responses, it has no actual answer to the issue. This suggests that again it is a problem with the OPs computer or his music.
If a software release or a piece of hardware has a flaw, there will be more than one person who experiences the issue. It's a problem on your end, not with the phone.
Also
"I've never heard of it so the problem doesn't exist"
Quit the arrogance with your little false quote trying to paint me as some sort of blind sociopath. You were given a perfectly good explanation even if it was worded poorly at the start of the paragraph. You choosing to disregard it is your choice, it doesn't change the fact that it's correct.

Now to the issue. I suggest backing up any apps you want to keep with titanium backup and doing a factory reset. I assume you're on the stock firmware.
Titanium backup required root, I thought.

[QUOTE=Banana Lord.;31593276]no seriously
what is recommended for someone with a Droid X (first one)[/QUOTE]
CM7? Stock Android is pretty okay, just get ADW or Launcher Pro with it. Or go with just decrapified Motoblur ROMs.

At this point the SGSII problem not finding music is either a software problem or a QC issue. I'd doubt the second one, but if on a custom ROM, try seeing if the same issue occurs on other ROMs that are completely stock with no apps added. Make sure your phone is completely up to date and as clean as possible, and if the issue doesn't get fixed I'd suggest getting a replacement if possible.
Can't be a QC issue. If it were a hardware fault the phone wouldn't detect anything on the internal memory.
If it's a software issue then it's almost undoubtedly due to him incorrectly flashing a custom rom, or having a poorly designed app that is preventing proper detection of media files. If he's on the stock rom then it isn't a fault of the rom itself, or everyone using it would have the issue.

Grab the Asus Transformer instead, either that or the 10.1.
I've heard that the Xoom, although a good device, has the problem that it's bulky and inconvenient.

It does, it's part of the app name, "Titanium Backup ★ root"

I thought CM7 wasn't being ported to the X

Good move, the screen on the Xoom is dull, but the IPS display on the Transformer is real nice for watching 720p movies/tv
Hey guys, guess what came in the post.
Hello Android thread.
MIUI is now 1.8.5, how do I update?
[editline]8th August 2011[/editline]
Ok nvm. I want to stop using MIUI. How do I revert back to my old rom?

If you make a backup, restore it, otherwise get another rom from XDA.
[QUOTE=FlamingSpaz;31601710]If you make a backup, restore it, otherwise get another rom from XDA.[/QUOTE]
On second thoughts, I want to keep it. How do I update Miui to latest version? And do I have to wipe my apps?
THE FUCK IS SO FUNNY.

It says how to do it in the OP of the MIUI thread.
Backup apps with MIUI backup in the tools folder.
Wipe system from recovery
Flash new MIUI
Restore using MIUI backup
Ignhelper, you should open your own thread, "Igngamer's Android misadventures"
Stop mocking my incompetence, I have to masturbate.
[QUOTE=Ignhelper;31602825]Stop mocking my incompetence, I have to masturbate.[/QUOTE]
Wha-
What
How is incompetence even slightly related to.. uh.. masturbating?
Does Pandora work outside the US now? Because it works on my phone.
How dangerous is it to root a phone? If you brick it, are there ways of fixing it before having to drop another $600 on a new phone?

What phone? It's pretty risk free anyways. It's also hard to hard brick it too.
Anyone else with a HTC and the typical car-mode problem? Got me a Desire and that shit started
to do whatever it wants a month ago. Car mode starts, stops, speakers are auto-enabled and I couldnt change
the volume when my earphones were plugged in.
The problem suddenly disappeared today. Really weird, is this only known for HTC's?

Never had any problems like that, but then again I threw CM7 on my Desire Z after a week of owning it.
Sense was too much of a bloated POS, and I'm the type of person who greatly values function over form.
Is it possible to play Dungeon Defenders: First Wave with a PS3 controller? I've got a Transformer, and the PS3 controller works correctly, but not with Dungeon Defenders.
[editline]8th August 2011[/editline]
Is it possible to play ANY games with the PS3 controller? What's the point of adding gamepad support if you can't use them for games?
[QUOTE=Ignhelper;31602825]Stop mocking my incompetence, I have to masturbate.[/QUOTE]
Easiest way to update MIUI is using rom manager
After masturbating of course

I know most emulators support gamepads

This phone is incredibly rigid. I've dropped it 2 times now from high fall. The last time it was on me, I forgot about it, woke up, throw my blanket off and phone slammed into the floor and landed with the screen downwards. Made a pretty high sound.
Instantly thought the screen cracked but not a single scratch can be seen.
[editline]8th August 2011[/editline]
Threw*
I have that on my Transformer, it is bloody awesome.

Because it hasn't been adopted by developers yet and doesn't work with many phones (Bluetooth support needs root and the only Android devices to support it OOTB are Honeycomb tablets with USB host), when ICS comes out I think we'll see a lot more support for them.
