yeah, i'll be gaming a lot, what perks are there to having a dual core processor?
Okay, well, to put it in simple terms; it makes the phone run faster. There's a lot more to it, but a dual core processor is like having your brain become stronger; you can do more and do it faster. But, as garrynohome said, buying the Play isn't exactly the best option. The Droid 3 will give you all the things a Play does, just with a full keyboard instead of a gamepad, which doesn't really have much usability outside of being an alternate way to scroll (far less efficient than simply touching the screen). My vote is, get the Droid.
I might want to add that the dual core cpu with the mobile geforce chip will run circles around the crapdragon chip in the Xperia play when it comes to running games. Qualcomm likes to preach that they give devs tools to optimize their games for snapdragon cpus. But no amount of optimizing will negate the fact that their cpus and even more so their gpus are crap.
I'd say go with the Galaxy Ace, the Monte Carlo is still an ARMv6.
But the Ace's screen resolution is very poor.
Dav0r, what's your budget?
I have just ordered my first phone in 5 years, a HTC Wildfire. Inb4 it's a lowspec shit phone; I don't plan to game on it, I don't want to play videos on it, I am only going to use it as a phone, a web browser, a GPS and music player. And maybe some development.

Agh, there's some bug with Android 2.2 for me, so my phone wont charge more than about 80%, and it drains the battery in about an hour or so. Gotta downgrade it to 2.1 :/ Or is there a more simple solution? A quick answer would be appreciated!
Try calibrating your battery.
S or Normal?
The normal one.
Dav0r, what's your budget?
hardly anything, i'd say £150 max
Try calibrating your battery.
Well I can't do that since the phone doesn't want to charge the battery to 100% So I thought about downgrading it, but I need a SD card for that and I don't have one, so I'm fucked.
How much did you order it for? Because if it's any more than £120 you should have gotten an Orange Monte Carlo/ZTE Skate.
I got it with a contract. I paid 18 euros for the phone, and got a year contract of 21/month with 60 calls/texts and unlimited web. 60 calls/text might seem like a small amount, but I don't call a lot, it's mainly so people can call me. [editline]13th August 2011[/editline] There's not much choice if you don't have a lot to spare here in the Netherlands. I only have about 100 euros a month.

Bought ROM Manager Premium from the Market but the app still says I need to be premium in order to update my ROM. Already tried rebooting the phone. How can I get a refund?
Found a SD card so I can make a goldcard, but I don't have a god damn adapter so I can't plug it into my computer... God damnit!
Bought ROM Manager Premium from the Market but the app still says I need to be premium in order to update my ROM. Already tried rebooting the phone. How can I get a refund?
Just launch the license (Premium) and it should sort it out. Or re download both
Just launch the license (Premium) and it should sort it out. Or re download both
Nope, still doesn't work.
The end of the earphones that my phone came with is falling off. Any suggestions as to how I can fix it or do I have to buy new ones? [T]http://i.imgur.com/Uv7H7.jpg[/T]
Hey guys, would you say this is a good deal/price? Comes with 50 minutes and 250 texts.
Can anyone suggest a good phone for around £200 sim-free?

I see, well it's the cheapest deal i can find for the big total (Monthly cost X 24 + one off price). Some websites do have cheaper monthly payments, but the one off price is something like £350.
anyone have any word on when cyanogenmod will have an official release for the evo 3D?

Rooted, reflashed and hauled Ass to 3 for a year long contract.
Well I can't do that since the phone doesn't want to charge the battery to 100%
But the battery will fully charge even if the phone doesn't think so. Leave it in for awhile and see what the voltage tops out at.
