It's not a task killer. Task killers drain battery life even more.
Using HyperDroid 2.1.0, HTC HD2.
What is it then?
What is it then?
Disables certain network connectivity when the screen is off. You can set whitelist permissions with the pay version. Either way, my battery drain is down to 2mA from several hundred mA.
Look into it, it's not a task killer. If it were, my battery usage would be worse.
neat, the xoom dropped in price by $100
now the 32gb wifi tablet costs $499.
i'm in the market for a new tablet. rate zing for the xoom, or tool for the galaxy tab 10.1
Just got the Droid 3, shipping here tomorrow.

$499 for 32gb is pretty nice but I'd rather pay $499 for the 16GB tab. It's way thinner and from what I've heard the screen is better.
Okay this hasn't happened to, me but:
Widlfire won't boot into recovery and won't boot normally, it comes up with a the triangle and !
After attempted rooting.
Sounds like a corrupted recovery image or bootloader. I did this to a HTC Magic, I managed after lots of faffing to get it into fastboot and loaded on some new images.
Okay I got it into fast boot after a little faffing around
You should be able to try again with a recovery image. Then restore from there
Okay, I dunno what ROM this guy wants yet, and I dunno what one he put on that broke it, so, I'll play the REPLY TO ME ON STEAM GOD DAMNIT game.
Dropped my SGS and it has a crack. It doesn't affect usage but if the phone becomes scrap by october that's my birthday so I'll just buy whatever the best kal-el device is.
Just ordered Samsung Galaxy S, think it was a good choice ?
As i got a nice offer about it from my phone operator Phone + 350min talk/text messages + Unlimited internet at 28,90€ per month for 2 years.

Don't drop it on pavement at the bus stop. Get a case and possibly a screen protector.
In the year that I've had my Omnia 2, I've dropped it onto concrete twice, and once onto my tile floor. Only damage sustained is a couple nicks out of the corners. Durable little bugger, that was.

I've dropped my SGS hundreds of times, literally hundreds. This was just the final straw man. It's all just visual though, I can't feel the crack when using it and the touchscreen is still perfect.
I'll probably get a case for my Galaxy S2 when I get it, just cus I don't want a single mark on it :v:
if anyone wants a great, well designed game to waste time on get gunbros
just played it for a sec and stopped to notice it's 2 AM
Ordered my SGS2 yesterday. Just got the email saying it shipped. Should be here on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Rogers just launched LTE.
They launched it only in Ottawa for now right?
What network does the SGS2 from Bell operate on? HSPA+ I assume?
IIRC, that's GSM-derived, right? it would be nice to upgrade phones in 2 years without having to extend contracts.

UMTS=/=GSM. We have this debate enough on hofo, I won't bother here. But yes, you can switch the sim card to whatever other device you want.

What else would it operate on..

Holy shit. That's some serious sales.
You know you need to lay down the phone for a bit when you know your operator's ID without having to look it up because of MarketEnabler usage.
(It's 24421)
My friend who was using an iPhone 3GS sent me a MMS type message but I have to go to o2.uk/m to view them. Is this normal using Android, specifically Galaxy S II?
Looking for a more stock experience than what I have with Litening which has been good so far, but battery life could still be improved. Having the screen on browsing is an absolute killer.

Nope, that's not normal.
You probably have the wrong MMS settings.

Yea i'm getting a screen protector, but i haven't dropped my phone for ages so prolly skipping on the case.
I'm so bored of my Nokia 5530 screen full of scratches and i don't really understand how it has even gotten those scratches as few of them are even quite deep.
Also screen protector shouldn't affect the usage of capacitive touchscreen in any way ? As it sure does on resistive ones as the soft touch detection lauyer actually moves.
is there a set release date for the first kal-el tablet?
I need some help.
I have a Samsung S5570, and just recently my camera stopped working.
You can enter the camera alright, and it'll show up, but you can't press anything. You can't take pictures, you can't go to settings, and so on. All I can do is go back. Is this a normal problem? If so, what can I do to fix it?
Come on guys, you're the experts here.
Wow, why did I completely kill the thread?
Just got 2.3.4 with Cyanogen Mod 7.1 on my Galaxy 5 (it only supports 2.1 officially, with beta releases of 2.2).
I am amazed with the speed increase, so far battery seems to be improved, I hope it actually is.
Why do I have a yellow triangle with a exclamation mark when I boot up my GSII.
