I honestly don't understand why Oracle would be advertising enterprise solutions in a movie geared towards the general public who will have no fucking clue what a SPARC Supercluster is
I bet a clueless exec went to his IT department and asked them if the current system was as SUPER DUPER as Iron Man's.
-snip-
What'd you end up doing?
I built my Micro Server to replace my NAS [img_thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/44896033/microsvr.jpg[/img_thumb]
The server guys just put a new chunk into our SAN. There's three in total, it's just really hard to get a picture since these racks are so close to the wall: [t]http://i.imgur.com/mw529IP.jpg[/t]
just ordered two of these. Dell CS24-SC
just ordered two of these. Dell CS24-SC
How much did they set you back each?
How much did they set you back each?
Only $280 for the two, including shipping.
What are the specs on the ones you're getting?
Processor: 2x XEON L5420 2.50GHZ QUAD CORE CPU'S WITH 12MB CACHE Memory: 12GB MEMORY
Man those are some nice servers, if any of you guys are interested in providing your service to a Northern Virginia remodeling company http://northernvaroofing.com and http://northernvawindows.com [editline]19th January 2014[/editline] This company also needs a server installed http://fohmat.com call them at 5712529748 (User was permabanned for this post ("Bot" - verynicelady))
The fuck? really?
The fuck? really?
Just report and move on.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/G0NZEEY.png[/t] These are all my personal vps's. They all do their own thing (mail, http, misc, backup, bots, cloud, sync, etc)
Second Dell c1100 is on the way, and I picked up a Juniper SSG5.
Second Dell c1100 is on the way, and I picked up a Juniper SSG5.
Is that Catalyst switch yours? There's barely anything connected to it :v:
Is that Catalyst switch yours? There's barely anything connected to it :v:
I got it for cheap and it handles gigabit to everything like a champ, we use the same models where I work for core switching so I am mainly using it to further my knowledge. Plus, it has a bunch of awesome addon cards, I picked up an IPSEC card I hope to use for gigabit VPN throughput.
Hoping someone here has used it before. Anyone who has used Untangle Firewall, can I get some opinions on it? As in how well it works and such?
Removing some old SAN's Before After Fuck they were heavy
My teamspeak server got a little bit popular... [t]http://i.imgur.com/XXfo82g.png[/t] Any clue if there is some kind of voice compression that I can enable?
[IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/R81QcNc.jpg[/IMG_thumb] My little derp server. Running Server 2012r2. Core2Quad Q6600, 4gb RAM, 120gig barracuda, and a gtx 250 for some reason. I just use it for fucking around. Every part was free.
Remove the gtx. No reason to spend the extra electric.
Yeah. I know. Threw it in there just for fun about a week ago when I got my new card. Plus I'm trying to sell it with a 550ti in it with a new case. No more server for me until I can find a new potato.
