Any free programs out there for playing Blu-Ray discs on my DVD/Blu-Ray optical drive? I'll just go and buy PowerDVD if I have to because I've seen people recommend it a lot, but if there's a free option that doesn't require any extra steps (like ripping, I don't much care for that), I'm game.
VLC can do it, but it takes a bit of setup. No ripping, it's just that they can't ship VLC and the Blu-Ray decoder together for stupid legal reasons.

The installation instructions were a bit vague (no "aacs" folder in appdata so I made my own and I'm pretty sure I put the .dll file in the right place) so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I think I found a disc that came with my optical drive that might have a program in it that will let me watch Blu-Rays. Hopefully I don't have to pay for it or it has a free CD key or something. Gonna see how it goes. [editline]3rd October 2015[/editline] Yep, I was right. The disc has a free copy of PowerDVD. Problem solved, I guess.
Anyone?
3 beeps means bad ram. Try reseating the ram.
Any recommendations for PC Case for ~50 euro on amazon? Needs to fit: GTX 970 ASUS, h100i Radiator and Fans. 2x SSD's and 1x 3.5" HDD.
Can I put 2 780 Ti's on SLI even though they're from different makers? (e.g. Asus & MSI)
Can I put 2 780 Ti's on SLI even though they're from different makers? (e.g. Asus & MSI)
Even if they have different clock speeds or VRAM amounts it'll work, but both cards will run at whichever has the lowest
Can I get some feedback on this build? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/BananaMagician/saved/bcPkcf I have a PSU already (Cooler Master Elite 460, 460W obvi).
You chose a Z97 moterboard and a locked CPU. For ~15$ more you can get a 4690k. Also, consider getting a GTX 970 instead (299$), it has better value IMO. Just for gaming you can get a single 8Gb DDR3 stick now and add another one later if you're on a tight budget. LE: The Gigabyte R9 390 G1 is currently at 264$ with promo code at Newegg. Best bang for the buck if you ask me.
Would these keep at least 20 % of dust out of case? http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01303JLHG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 Also can I wash PC case in bathtub assuming all electrical components are out?
Yes & yes (just stay away from the power/reset buttons).

And how do I prevent this dust bullshit. http://imgur.com/Ley4Px9
you might want to dust your room every once and a while.
So I built a PC a few months ago, it was working fine until about 1-2 weeks ago. Now at random (sometimes triggered by interacting with stuff, opening a new page in firefox) everything on my desktop will stop responding. All open programs, Explorer, the taskbar, etc, freeze in place and won't unfreeze for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I check my memory and CPU usage whenever this happens but there's no spikes or intensive programs, did a full Malwarebytes scan and found nothing either. I think it's a hardware problem (this was my first build so I might've fucked it up) but I don't know how to diagnose that, running CHKDSK didn't tell me anything. Can anyone help?
Why do I feel like an idiot for selling M5A97 R2.0 + FX 8350 + 8 GB of ram for 170 Euro? Was that too low?
that's way too low 220 euros would of been on point really 170 is like i want this fucking gone price
Really? Around here used you're selling an 8350 for like $100, board would go for like $50 absolute tops and RAM for $30-35
Software related question, I use OBS to capture footage and WebM for retards to convert it, and my webms always come out looking very artefacted. I tried looking up how to enable lossless capture on obs but that just overloaded my cpu and I had turn it down a bit following another tutorial, but the mp4 looks decent but the webm doesnt look all that pleasing to look at. mp4 vs webm comparison specs obs settings
Well, the thing is - I put the ad up for 200 Euro. Thought okay, this will take a good while to sell. Some guy said 160, I said 170 and you got a deal. He agreed said he will pick it up in an hour. I just literally rushed and stripped whole working PC I was using and packed everything into original packaging.
How long should an Ivy Bridge i5 last for gaming? From everything I've seen, it should be quite a while
Right, so parts should arrive tomorrow, should I have any problems with them or should I know something? I never owned a proper Intel CPU (last intel CPU I had was Pentium 4 in 2011 :v: ) It took me whole day yesterday to think of what RAM to get, Either 1866mhz CL10 or 1600mhz CL9. Woke up at 2 AM tonight to change HyperX FURY Series 16GB 1866mhz CL10 to that. Can I expect some decent performance out of this CPU with GTX 970? (assuming it outperforms FX8350 straight out of the box) Can I overclock it to 4.0 Ghz with Corsair h100i ? [t]http://i.imgur.com/b8i3eMC.png[/t]
you can go a lot higher with a 4690K with a h100i than 4ghz aim for 4.4~ ish
I would need some guidance like step by step, never did working overclock (only failed FX8350 which caused system lock up), don't want to damage new mobo or CPU.

Try to stretch for the Gigabyte Z97x-Gaming 5 if you can.
Has anyone had experience with Bitlocker startup keys (usb) - Can you add personal files to the startup key or can the USB only hold the bitlocker startup key/s
Not a fantastic board for overclocking. Try to stretch for the Gigabyte Z97x-Gaming 5 if you can.
Its already dispatched. So I can't clock it to 4.3 at least?
It should still be good for 4.4. Just probably not for much more.
Okay so like 1/5 of the rightside of chrome doesn't work? Like I can click the post numbers but I cant click Reply, subscribe, or "93", have the same issue on other websites.
If you really want the data gone use dban. But don't use dban on SSD's.
Just found out my work laptop has World Community Grid software installed and running by default. What's that about? It seems to be doing some kind of computing and if I press details - it links to http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ Does that put much stress on laptop? If I disable it - will it be faster? Also, my work laptop has Quadro 1000M installed which seems to allow to run certain applications on it. How does that work? Can I increase speed of say eclipse by running it on Quadro?

So how do I tell if I have the bad 3TB barracuda seagate drives and how long should I expect one to last if I've already had it for a year?
