A lot of midrange and lower older cases just weren't meant for watercooling. Back then was before cheap AIO solutions.
Yo, I need some help with SQL.
I'm building a parts/supplier/manufacturer/order/quote etc database for my company.
How would I make it so there is a core number that follows through the whole process of purchasing an item.
So example Quote 0123 becomes Order 0123 when processed.
(Purchase Order 0123 is Invoice 0123 is Order 0123 is Quote 0123)
I'm shit at explaining things, currently its all out of whack. If a customer is to place ask for a quote it would be PrevQuote# +1 but obviously customers dont always complete an order, while the QuoteID has produced the correct number the other tables are no longer consistent.
Would it be as simple as setting one Primary Key across all tables or would that create redundant data if say a Quote wasn't pushed through to purchase?

Not expert in SQL but what if you had all of data in one table?
I mean it would have extra column saying: Status (0 for Quote, 1 for Invoice, 2 for Receipt etc.... ?)
Every process of purchase would have different status number.
Is Samsung S24E390H monitor any good?
I just bought a bluetooth speaker (magicbox2) and was wondering if theres any way to put a security passkey on it? My neighbors keep connecting to it by mistake from across the wall.
Okay someone else has had to of experience this problem before:
I have extra fans that I want to mount to the top of my case. My case has the appropriate sized holes that line up with the fans. but the fans I have just have screws, and nothing to screw into.
I know that some fans let you screw into the plastic as a way of securing it, but this one isn't like that if that makes any sense.
I need some appropriately sized nuts just for fans or a bracket or something but no idea where to find that. Any help?

I keep hearing that dx12 will fuck nvidia owners and give advantage to AMD users, is that true? :/

Unlikely, but I can't give a completely definite "no" at this point.
There's basically one game dev who is spouting all kinds of stuff about Nvidia having some feature emulated CPU-side that trashes performance. Nobody else is saying anything about it, and Nvidia is (IIRC) denying it completely.
Most likely it's just one incompetent dev but it's not impossible they're right. I'm not too worried at any rate.
Just installed Windows 10.
This is pretty fucking neat.
Is there any advantage in dropping Spotify premium and going Groove Music?
What's a decent usb 2.0 hub? My usb ports on my computer are for some reason not supplying enough power except for 1

Enough power for what?
I just bought a laptop today and it's a Windows 8.1. I'm trying to get it to update to Windows 10 but it doesn't seem to make any kind of progress at all. Nothing happens. I've tried updating other parts of the OS using Windows Update and the only ones I've been able to get to install have been the optional ones by forcing my PC to do an Install/Reboot. I can't do the same for the important updates though and TiWorker.exe is eating up the CPU like a mother. It's a brand new laptop and I can't figure out how to fix this issue.
Can anyone help? Right now I'm running the sfc /scannow in the command prompt but if that comes out clean I have no other ideas.

does you school give you a key for adobe acrobat or something? if not, I guess pdfedit would work?

You can also try opening them in Word or LibreOffice. Its no Acrobat, but it will work if you just need to add/edit some text or something simple.

Just say "fuck it" and use the media creation tool.
It will still count as a valid Windows 10 upgrade
So I've been trying to update the video drivers onto my windows 10 laptop. No matter what I do, I cannot get the catalyst control center to install. Everything else works. The installer has been stuck on "Currently Installing: AMD Catalyst Control Center" for a good six hours now, task manages confirms it's not using any resources so I assume it's not actually doing anything.
Every time I've installed or updated the drivers in the past, catalyst control center never gets installed, and I can't figure out why. Does anybody have any ideas?

I ran the executable, said I already had it installed, so I tried the "repair" option. Halfway through, suddenly CCC opens out of nowhere. So I got it to run once, but now it doesn't automatically start when I start up the computer like it does on my other machine. At least I was able to use it to change the one setting I wanted to change.
Man I really hate computers sometimes.
Ever since I switched to Windows 10 I've had occasional issues with chrome refusing to download things until I end all its processes entirely, anybody have a permanent fix?

Can this be explained by Windows 10 better looking UI?
I know difference is insignificant but still wondering.

could be explained by a number of different things. such as lighter load on resources windows 10 has, but also what you have running in the background and what background work is also happening in general while the test is running.

I just replaced my PSU and now my computer won't start at all. I tried plugging in the old one again to see if something else had fried but it works just fine. Is the new PSU faulty or something? The lights on the motherboard and GPU light up normally though.
Turns out a bad cable somehow made the new PSU refuse to start the computer, I replaced it and it works now.
