Alright so I hooked up an HDMI cable and I got sound to work, even the front speakers work!

Didn't realize you can't use 144hz with HDMI though, so I guess it would be best to switch that to my 2nd monitor instead of my primary.

I have a benq xl2430t and a GTX760 TI, could it be because I'm using a regular HDMI cable? I read that a DVI-D cable will give HDMI, but you need it to go up to 144hz.

the choppiness and low FPS isn't your graphics card, it's Fallout being a piece of shit.

I had the same issue: combat was laggy as fuck and I kept dying cause I couldn't fight well as a result, also my FPS was dick.

Google "Fallout 4 .ini fix" or something, and change your Fallout 4 ini files. Worked a charm for me and now the game is on ultra and runs super smooth

I should add that this happens to every menu I try to open except for chrome, there it works perfectly fine and I bet on a bunch of other programs as well.

Someone in the Fallout thread managed to sort his shit by setting Fallout4.exe's CPU priority to high.

I can confirm it somewhat works for me (I'm waaaaay below minimum spec but I can still play it on medium)

It works in Chrome because Chrome rolls its own context menu. Your internal Windows resources are fucked.
