I don't know if this is the place for it, but can anyone reccomend me a free ISO creator?I've gone through three of them (Nero, MagicISO, PowerISO) only to find out they have limitations unless you register them.
Could someone do me a huge favour? If you'd be willing to mesh 4 gifs into one, I'd really appreciate it. Here's the four gifs in question:

AMD FX-8350 8 core cpu "black edition" any opinions on it?
AMD FX-8350 8 core cpu "black edition" any opinions on it?
AFAIK, there is literally no difference between it and the regular FX-8350 because most FX chips already have an unlocked multiplier (the advertised feature of the Black Edition). And it's not worth it if you can afford the latest Intel i5 anyway.

As well as you may not be able to use the CPU and mobo together without having a different CPU to update the bios first. If you can post a budget and some websites you can order from I could probably throw something together.
Hey guys, I just built a new rig, and windows explorer isn't recognizing my 2nd Hard drive (I currently boot from SSD). When I go to Computer Management and the Disk Management subsection, I have the option to initialize the disk, but when I do so, it asks whether I want MBR or GPT. I've no idea what this means, and don't want to accidentally mess my current settings up. edit: nevermind, Im good

I usually choose GPT no matter what, only real downside is you won't be able to see it if you plug it in to an XP machine. Get a blue or a Seagate barracuda as a data drive. GPU is solid, for a PSU I'd get a seasonic, xfx, or superpower model. You probably don't need an aftermarket cooler unless it's hot where you live, and as for an SSD the Crucial MX100 are pretty much the best bang for buck. Just wondering, my i7 930 is OCd to 4.0 ghz, would it worth upgrading to an i7-4790k? if not i was thinking of upgrading my GTX 770, any recommendations?

So I'm currently backing up and getting ready for a fresh partition. However Iunno if I should stick with Win7 or upgrade to 8.1, thoughts?
Nope. That i7 is still good even if it's OC'd or not. I'd just save cash for an entire re-build though when Intel's next gen processor after haswell refresh come out.
Wait for skylake. Both broadwell and skylake are due out this year, but skylake will be using ddr4 and is moving some voltage control off the CPU die, which should be nice for overclocking.

I plan on building over the summer and I don't want to wait any longer for a CPU if it's not going to be THAT much better than the i7 4790k I plan on getting. Plus I'm sure it'll be much more expensive. Also, a couple of questions relating: I want to make sure these are good items to get. My brother gets a sweet discount working at best buy so I figured I'd save a few bucks by buying shit there. Are these items any good? Corsair CX750M 750 - $73.50 Insignia Case Fan - $3.12 SSD Optima 240GB - $84.99 3TB Barracuda 7200 $111.83 Geforce GTX 970 GDDR $315.20 I forgot to get RAM prices but I'm sure i'll get ~10-15 bucks off them as well. Best Buy doesn't have the CPU, Cooler, Motherboard, or Case so I'm getting those online.

One thing to keep in mind is most best buy employees get stupid discounts on Intel processors during the Christmas season. You're not supposed to get them for family, but you can easily. Skylake should be out by then.

Unfortunately our store doesn't sell the processors in the store either so he can't use the discount.
What is the quickest way of transferring and OS from a HDD to an SSD?
What is the quickest way of transferring and OS from a HDD to an SSD?
Clonezilla if you want free,
I've organized photos like so: Where every folder is a card dump. I know there's a fair bit of overlap between them (I don't wipe the card every time I dump it, I should start doing that) and I want to know if there's a tool that can find those dupe files (same title, creation date and data) and automatically delete the one with the older modify date, so they're all kept in their earliest dump.
I currently have Windows 8 installed on my computer, but I need to format my hard drive. I don't have an installation disc, since this is a laptop that came with it pre-installed. I'm able to find out what this OS's product ID is, but would I be able to use it to authenticate another install of Win8? I'm not very keen on having to buy a new copy of Windows if I've already got one version that's (technically) working.

Your key should still work with it though as it's a free upgrade. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media
Yo. A few days ago my keyboard died (soda and keyboards don't mix very well). So I've been looking for a the same keyboard, however they don't manufacture these type of keyboards anymore. What is some special about this keyboard is the layout, everything is compact, the esc + f1-12 keys don't have a gap unlike other keyboards you see often. could someone help me find a keyboard that is similar to the one in the link? and is still being sold in Europe. Also It needs to be wired. Thanks in advance.
trying to get to grips with Atom right now it's definitely what I've been looking for, and I love the interface the question is, is it even possible to execute/run code? I've had a look at the packages available on the site and whilst there are some run/build packages, they're either geared towards OSX and use hashbangs (which I'm unsure how to implement) can anyone point me towards setting up Atom to execute code, or failing that, recommending me an alternative programme similar in design to Atom I want to programme in C, Python and Ruby if that helps?
What are some best graphic cards between 500-1000 ranges that can support multiple of monitor (Or soon to be 4K monitor) and still be able to utilize some cores for calculation ( Photoshop GPUaccelerate / 3ds max Quicksilver / In game editors ) I assume I need to look for something like Nvidia Quadro K4000 or at least 980 Classified/Titan...
It's time for me to change my ancient CPU, an AMD 550 BE from like 2009. Been limiting a lot in games like ARMA 3 and Planetside 2. I've been looking at AMD CPUs but I've kept getting suggestions to get an Intel one instead. So I'm wondering what CPU I should get? As for the motherboard I'd prefer the cheapest one possible, unless there's a reason to get more expensive ones. Spending limit is around 400-500 USD.
I'm thinking about buying a small HDD to install a linux distro on. I'm currently running Windows 7, and I don't really have the disk space to dual boot. Is there any way I can set up a simple boot menu of sorts that prompts me to pick which device to boot into every time I boot, or am I going to have to go into the bios and change the boot order every time?
