Looks like you're getting voltage drops on the +12v, based on that HWMonitor image. A new PSU is likely what you need. I suggest an EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750w, a little pricey, but reviews put it as one of the best available. But before buying anything, test your PSU with a multimeter.
Huh. I'll have to do some research on this, I never thought to look at the PSU considering these symtoms. I'm running http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0090I9VZI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which I thought was a pretty good choice. what do you think would cause this kind of behavior? Do I have to many things running off of it? EDIT: So I just checked my bios. It claims the 12V rail is at 12.2 I might run out and go get a multi meter. Would the contacts on my mobo allow for real time reading? while the OS is running and all?
I'm trying to install service pack 1 to fix my BSOD and able to run a game launcher. It keeps failing. I originally got Error_sxs_assembly_missing(0x80073701) and figured out how to fix that. Now I'm getting error_not_FOUND(0x80070490). I tried using windows repair it, windows fix it, system update readiness tool and nothing seems to fix it. Then I went on and did a sfc /scannow and my logs are showing this:
2015-03-21 18:40:29, Info CSI 00000018 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"atiumdva.dll" of atiilhag.inf, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2015-03-21 18:40:32, Info CSI 0000001a [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"atiumd6a.dll" of atiilhag.inf, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2015-03-21 18:40:32, Info CSI 0000001c [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"atiumdva.dll" of atiilhag.inf, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2015-03-21 18:40:32, Info CSI 0000001d [SR] This component was referenced by [l:184{92}]"Microsoft-Windows-Client-Drivers-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.7600.16385.INF_atiilhag" 2015-03-21 18:40:32, Info CSI 0000001f [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:24{12}]"atiumd6a.dll" of atiilhag.inf, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type = [l:24{12}]"driverUpdate", TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2015-03-21 18:40:32, Info CSI 00000020 [SR] This component was referenced by [l:184{92}]"Microsoft-Windows-Client-Drivers-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.7600.16385.INF_atiilhag" 2015-03-21 18:43:27, Info CSI 00000151 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:22{11}]"regedit.exe" of Microsoft-Windows-Registry-Editor, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2015-03-21 18:43:30, Info CSI 00000153 [SR] Cannot repair member file [l:22{11}]"regedit.exe" of Microsoft-Windows-Registry-Editor, Version = 6.1.7600.16385, pA = PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_AMD64 (9), Culture neutral, VersionScope = 1 nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35}, Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, hash mismatch 2015-03-21 18:43:30, Info CSI 00000154 [SR] This component was referenced by [l:202{101}]"Microsoft-Windows-Foundation-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~6.1.7600.16385.WindowsFoundationDelivery" 2015-03-21 18:43:30, Info CSI 00000157 [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file [ml:520{260},l:28{14}]"\??\C:\Windows"\[l:22{11}]"regedit.exe";
Went out and got a multi meter. computer idles around 12.27ish, when in a game i'm at a steady 12.22
Must've been HWMonitor giving a bad reading. 12.2 is within ATX 2.3 spec, while the HWMonitor was 11.16, which is about 0.4V out of spec, enough to cause crashes. If reinstalling doesn't fix anything, then it's a hardware issue. 3TB mechanical hard drives. Yay or nay? And if yay, which model(s) is/are the best choice(s)?

Multiplatter Seagate desktop HDD's historically have a bit more issue than multiplatter WD's. You could however go with a 5900 rpm Seagate NAS drive though. That's a 3tb for ~$115 and don't suffer from the same multiplatter issues of the Barracudas.
you know, it'd be really cool if I could control my Computer from my Laptop. Be able to access a music/movie library as well as control the computer's speakers through it. Lay in bed and play some music, adjust it when it gets too loud, and be able to shut the computer down when I'm done etc. Is there any program or system like this?
i think if you put 3 7200RPM HDDs in a standard PC case it'll be incredibly noisy. invest in a NAS

Hard drive discussion? SSD drives are extremely worth it External drives are totally worth it, 4TB for 100$ I have my external drive autosync with my super cheap VPS website, and some registry edits+batch scripting to add a right click option to copy any file on it's public URL. I also sync my phone to it, and have context menu commands to copy a photo to a public directory and copy the link to it. If anyone is seriously interested in becoming a king of quickly shared files and starting a VPS rental, PM me.

Unfortunately Microsoft locks some of that to "Professional" versions of Windows, but even Home versions have a lot of that. File sharing covers being able to access any files on there, including music and stuff. Windows Media Player also has network control, so if you use your desktop's speakers you can play music through it remotely and control the volume within WMP. For everything else, the thing you're looking for is called "Remote Desktop". Unfortunately you need Windows 8 Pro (or Windows 7 Pro, and so on) on the computer you're accessing remotely. But that basically gives you full control - anything you can do with a mouse and keyboard sitting at the computer, you can do with Remote Desktop.
Alternatively, you could use a program like TeamViewer, which is free.
So I bought a couple old computers at a garage sale, both of which are between 15-20 years old. They're both running Windows 98, and use what I believe are dial-up specific Ethernet pci cards. How can I connect to the Internet on these? When setting up a connection, it asks for a friggin phone number.

Bonus points if it supports Win98 officially, and install drivers and configure the TCP IP settings manually. It won't be too useful for browsing the web. I believe Opera 10 was the last browser to support 98 officially. It would mainly be useful for moving files around over ftp.

What's a good 13 or 14 inch laptop that has a GPU and a screen that doesn't have uneven backlighting(bottom half of the LCD being bright than the top).
I have a HAF 912 plus, and some months ago I accidentally snapped off the retainer clip on the top right of the front panel, as a result it will start resonating after leaving it alone long enough. Is there a way to make sure it won't be able to resonate the whole time without making it look ugly as hell?
that really looks like a bracket that makes it work for atx, just at a eye glance i don't really think that case is a great idea it's gonna be really cramped and that psu mount doesn't look like it could fit a lot of the PSUs out there sure it's atx standard for psus and motherboards but there are some that are just really fucking long and that bend down the middle in this photo here may stop that earthwatts PSU from fitting
So even if I could get the PSU in there it wouldn't be a good case otherwise due to being cramped?
you won't have a lot of room to hide the cables plus you gotta take in airflow and your GPU plus the amount of drives in there if your motherboard is micro atx you're probably better off getting a micro atx case that's decent and investing in the money so you can have it look tidy inside and not restrict airflow and have the size to fit stuff in it are you looking for something slimmer or just a smaller case? cause if it's slimmer then yeah for that price since it's second hand probably yeah it's ok for what you're paying for but beware that shit's gonna be cramped when you throw in your hardware
I'm more looking for a temporary solution to deal with my lack of desk space until I eventually move out in the upcoming months. I was thinking about putting in on the floor sideways but I'm not sure if that would be good for it or if my cables can reach. I don't have a micro atx motherboard and my cooler isn't a stock one now that I think about it so it might not even fit.

I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think your card is to blame. The issue is a common one http://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_4/comments/23x1i9/
so this has gone from weird to almost reproducible, i'd ask if anyone has seen it happen before but it seems like such an edge case I'd doubt it so I've got an AC-56 USB wireless adapter from Asus, and a while back my computer decided to bitch about startup repair, eventually causing me to have to refresh tonight i'm browsing when I lose internet, nbd just unplug and replug adapter that sometimes fixes it, no dice, reboot, "startup repair" i put two and two together and realized that a similar situation happened last time, is it even plausible for this to be happening?
Closest I've seen is a crap ass USB wireless adapter causing the router to shit itself when the computer it was attached to bluescreened. We're not 100% certain what causes the bluescreens on the computer, but I reckon bad drivers personally.
