Check what the time is set to in your bios.
Just did, weird - it was set to 3 AM. Kinda weird that it just randomly decides to change, why not when I turn on PC but rather just in middle of nowhere.

I'm using a friends OpenVPN server on his VPS, and of course he has the keys and what not. Can he technically do a man in the middle attack on my connection?

SSL and certs make it a bit harder to intercept secure traffic without you noticing though. Unless of course, you installed a cert from his VPS on your machine.

It seems to be using 1024bit key signed using RSA with SHA1.

Or it can create a connection to the server on your behalf, intercept all traffic, and re-encrypt it before passing it to you using his certificate, and your browser would be none the wiser. That's something that many corporate firewalls have as a feature. Really, a VPN is only as secure as the operator makes it. In all fairness though, I highly doubt your friend is doing anything like that.

I don't plan to keep this PSU for a long time but I've done the math on eXtreme with all my stuff. [t]http://puu.sh/hraeX.png[/t] This is what worries me,But i just want to know if its safe to use it for a month while I get some money to buy another PSU

I would NOT put something like a 680 on that power supply at all. [editline]26th April 2015[/editline] The 680 takes roughly 150w more than your current card.
Any recommendations of PSU? I made a quick search and I thought about a Corsair 500W
Any recommendations of PSU? I made a quick search and I thought about a Corsair 500W
What power connectors does the 680 need, a 6 and an 8? I really wouldn't recommend the corsair cx line, I can probably find one that will work around that price though.

It's 2 6pins, it's the EVGA reference design model. That PSU I linked will work beautifully.

I have 2 partitions each with their operative system. I formatted one of them recently and now the boot selection menu is gone even though the partition is still there. How do I go about re-enabling that choice menu without formatting the other partition as well?

Both are Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bits. It now boots to the windows 7 that was formatted last.
Need some opinions on whether or not I have a dead/dying hard drive on my hands. Earlier today after clicking a link in a Steam chat the PC became unresonsive, followed by the mouse becoming unresonsive, and finally a bluescreen with the error "Kernel data inpage error". I was able to reboot but shortly after the desktop loaded the same thing happened. Booting into safe mode worked fine and I was able to load the event log, which showed dozens of errors from various windows services and (more worryingly) errors from the SATA controller saying the controller was unresponsive. HD Tune showed a value of 8 for "current pending sector count" in the SMART data, which Google tells me is a bad sector that hasn't been remapped. I rebooted into a disk check, which was unable to complete. After that I haven't been able to boot, even in to safe mode. Memtest ran successfully for a couple hours. I should be able to get my hands on an external HDD enclosure to see if this disk will be readable by another computer but as of yet I haven't tested it. Does this sound like a dying hard drive, or do those sata controller errors mean the motherboard is dying? Thanks.
