Help. Trying to get triple-monitors to work. I have three monitors (duh). Two 1920x1200 (left/right)and one 1920x1080 (in the middle). I have a GTX 980 which is x2 DisplayPort, x1 HDMI and x1 DVI. I plug the two ones on the side into the DisplayPorts, and the middle one into DVI. But I only get picture on two displays. Either one of the DisplayPorts and the DVI, but never all three. What do.
you need to use the HDMI one
And I just realized I can't because the middle monitor only has VGA/DVI connections. No HDMI. I have a DVI-to-HDMI cable, but that didn't do it. On that note, I just saw this on the guide for setups [t]http://i.imgur.com/WyZBSNb.png[/t] And well, Two of these are Dells and the middle one is BenQ. So oops. [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] No wait, this is 2D vision surround, not 3D. I think Uhhh. [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] "Surround requires displays that share at least one common timing" Oh
Full surround would need them to all be same resolution/refresh. You can use them all independently, though.
Full surround would need them to all be same resolution/refresh. You can use them all independently, though.
No idea how though. Regular monitor setup in Windows is refusing it as well, but it doesn't specify why, [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] NO WAIT IT WORKS NOW, LIKE MAGIC [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Mwe0Hpm.jpg[/t] So dang near perfect. Thanks! [editline]2nd May 2015[/editline] Well, my GPU temps started idling at 65 degrees. Nope'd the hell out of there and downgraded to dual monitors again. That was fun while it lasted.
Is my graphics card dying? When playing Dota 2, my monitor will randomly turn off and won't come back on unless I restart my computer. My computer doesn't seem to make any odd noises when this happens. I don't really play many other games besides Dota 2, but this hasn't happened while playing League of Legends. I'm not really sure what's wrong.

How can I take the graph from this webpage http://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/local/fbi-hair/ and put it into word or excel? Word being preferred but excel will work
Does it do it when your browsing too? That also sound like a monitor issue as well.
Nope, it only seems to happen while playing Dota 2.

Quick question, can i use Xbox One Controller with the Play and Charge kit plugged to my PC?
You couldn't do that with 360 controllers so I doubt it
Excuse my ignorance, whats a raw editor?
notepad notepad++
notepad notepad++
All I got was it all in a vertical column. Same thing you got?

Can someone link me to some sub-$500 laptops with preferably 1080p (no worse than 720p) that have long battery life? I really only NEED it to take notes, and I'd really rather not get distracted in the middle of class by a steam conversation or something, so a chromebook would probably be just fine. Really all I need is battery life and for it to not take 5 minutes to start up. edit: and by long I mean like 9 hours minimum, 10+ ideal.
I'm currently looking for a school/bring-to-friend's-house laptop in the 7000 DKK/1050 USD/690 GBP/940 EUR price range, that's able to work well with various content creation programs like the Adobe Master Collection, DAWs etc. as well as be able to run games like GTA 5 and CS:GO. Currently the best thing I've been able to find is an ASUS laptop with a quad core i7@2.5GHz, 8gb of DDR3L ram, and a GeForce 850M, which seems pretty awesome at that price. If you guys could help me find a laptop that's even better, and is shippable to Denmark, that would be great! Thanks in advance!
okay so I listen to a lot of mixtapes and own an iphone for some reason, when the mixtapes are on my iphone, they have no artist in their metadata, they're just listed under unknown artist i've checked the metadata and the artist names are all there what do

The correct place to put the artist is under "Contributing Artist".
Did you list the artist under "Album artist" or "Contributing Artist"?
Yup!
Hmm....theres got to be some way to lift it somewhat intact...
Does EVGA's step-up program apply to all of their graphics cards or only the ones using the reference cooler? If I have a GTX 980 with the ACX 2.0 cooler, can I upgrade to the 980 Ti with an ACX 2.0 cooler when it's available?
Anyone know of a windows binary to modify TIFF tags? I already have one that changes the exif of a jpeg, but it's limited to jpeg, which is a lossy file If ffmpeg already supports this, I'm stupid and can't find it
Can someone recommend me a keyboard that has all the good sides of a Steelseries 6Gv2, but doesn't have the keypad? My price range is up to 80 euros.
Quick question before I head to the post office: Does coil whine come in 'heavier' flavors? I've got a buzzing in my system that kind of sounds like a zip tie being hit by a fan, and I thought I had it narrowed down to the PSU (XFX 850 gold), but when I plugged in my old PSU (Raidmax 630w) I could still hear the noise. [editline]5th May 2015[/editline] I should add that it's never 'squealed' like I expect coil whine to. It just becomes a louder and more pronounced clicking.
Can someone recommend me a keyboard that has all the good sides of a Steelseries 6Gv2, but doesn't have the keypad? My price range is up to 80 euros.
you can probably get a quickfire rapid with black switches for 80 euros or less.
Recently changed my 2x 560 Ti's for a GTX 970. Yesterday I got a BSOD twice. Once while playing Heroes 3, once while running a virus check. Ran the virus test again today, surely another BSOD. I also got an SSD about 4 months ago, not sure if relevant. Is there a general way to diagnose why BSODs occur? Specs: i7 2600K MSI GTX 970 8 GB RAM 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 Friend said I should try clearing the BIOS, so I'll do that later today.
