Ive been running a 1920x1080 60Hz monitor for ages now and am looking to upgrade. Would a 144Hz monitor be worth it over a 120Hz monitor?
Ive never really tried either, but I cant imagine the difference being all that big, right?

Also can anyone recommend a particular monitor that they've had good luck with?
If I order multiple parts from different vendors (let's say three things from Newegg, two things from Amazon, three things from SuperBiiz, etc.), will they still arrive at my house on the same day as long as they were ordered on the same day and were all sent to the same address?
[editline]3rd June 2015[/editline]
By "the same day", I have an example: Let's say I make these orders on three different websites on a Friday. Will they all get there next Tuesday even though they're all from different sites?
only if all parts shipped from the same carrier start point at the exact same time
this isn't even likely with multiple objects from one site, it's far less likely from multiple sites
My secondary hard drive has gone missing. I had Windows explorer crash and ever since then only my SSD and files on it will show up. I used a health monitoring program on the HDD recently and it was near perfect, so I don't think it's dead. I just don't know how to get Windows to decide it exists again.
[editline]4th June 2015[/editline]
Booting up seems oddly slow as well, even though Windows is on the SSD. Might just be my imagination though.
e: Never mind, the drive is just dying.
VPNs: Are they trustworthy? If so which ones?
VPNs: Are they trustworthy? If so which ones?
I use PrivateInternetAccess and I can't even tell its on UNLESS I try to play an online game because the Ping is higher. But it doesn't restrict anything.
The wifi in my house sucks and our 2wire 3600HGV(the default ATT modem) is limited to 6.75 megabtes per second on connections within the home network even though the highest I've ever managed to get is 1.4 mb/s even when nobody else is on the network.
If I buy a dual, or tri band wireless router and plug it into the back of my current modem/router, will it allow me to have a higher connection speed? What's it going to take for me to have a faster home connection?
I've already monitored the other channels around my house and all the other channels are taken up and are on auto so switching to an unused channel doesn't fix anything
I'm thinking of getting a new microSD card for my mobile and found a Samsung Pro one with 32gb for 25€. Is it worth it(in terms of speed) in a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini or should I rather invest in a 64gb card?
I mean if I only get better read/write speeds when copying stuff from my PC to the phone I'd rather have more storage.

Any class 10 sd card is going to be fine for 99% of SD card usage.

What games do you play? If you play primarily console ports, nah.

Well that doesn't really answer the question but ok.
Well that doesn't really answer the question but ok.
I see how that didn't. If you primarily play console port type games, go with the 980ti.
I'm considering buying these parts, are there any better deals avaliable?

You could definitely go with a better case. Is $400 your budget?
You could definitely go with a better case. Is $400 your budget?
Yep, $400 is the budget for upgrades. I was also looking at the Source 210 Elite, but I like the features of the GX500 better. If there was a significantly better case for 20ish more I could probably buy it, but it'd have to be a big improvement.
Anyone familiar with Anti-Adblock killer and had this issue?

Which domain name registrar is the cheapest for .net domains and also ain't complete assholes?
My Deluge client has had horrible speeds the past week.
I'm getting like 2.2Kb a second what the fuck.
Anybody know how I can fix this
I bought h100i liquid cooler, I am not sure if its gonna fit in my case, so I am wondering if it doesn't - can I place radiator on top of case with tubes coming out of side and case lid off? I know its kinda ghetto style but I can't afford decent case fight now.

What case do you have? If you've got a 2x120mm slot, you'll likely be able to get the radiator to fit. You might just need to put the fans up on top of the case.

I don't know the model of case, I got it from previous owner of PC, PC was completely rebuilt only case and PSU left.
It has however - 2x120mm slots on top.
And there is 2x120mm slots on left side lid.

Then if it doesn't fit you should be able to do what I said.

Okay thank you.
I hope the M5A97 R2.0 can overclock my AMD at least a bit.

Your ISP is mad. Quit torrents for a few days.
How much coil whine do you guys think is enough for an RMA/is tolerable? My new MSI GTX 970 has some. I actually noticed it when I opened up medieval engineers and at at the main menu I was greeted with a high pitched screech. However that was at 2000-3000 fps.
Other than that I've barely noticed it, except there's a slight whine n high FPS GTA V situations, but nothing I can hear over my headphones..

Try this. It creates an ethernet connection through your house's electrical wiring. Have this, it works pretty darn well but it can be hit or miss for some people. I'd say it's still worth a try though
It's only a hit and miss if you aren't on the same power circuit and your power wiring is shit.
Yeah, which is something you can only know for sure if you demolish your drywall to look at the wiring :v:

if the power lines in the house are divided in different phases (some are supplied with 3 phase and neutral, whereas the phases are isolated from each other and 90-degrees out of phase with each other) then those ethernet-over-powerline adapters don't work.
it needs to be on the same phase line.
