I still use the opera classic style and still will use it..
Yeah, same here like I said the post above. Just installed the pre alpha and wow, I'm amazed. It even has that CTRL + F "Find in site" option. :3:

It too is now integrated into the tab and no longer an extra window.

I didn't notice this. They really went all out for this pre-alpha... They added so much while keeping it all a secret. [editline]01:57AM[/editline] I just hope the official release on the 22nd fixes the minor issues like middle-click scrolling and the right click menu on selected text.
Why the fuck are browsers condensing all of the menu items and toolbar buttons into one menu, I fucking hate this.
Why the fuck are browsers condensing all of the menu items and toolbar buttons into one menu, I fucking hate this.
Because most people would agree that minimalism is nice. And as I said, you can disable it. Also, OS X defeats that problem. :smug:
Why the fuck are browsers condensing all of the menu items and toolbar buttons into one menu, I fucking hate this.
It allows for more screen space. You can switch it on and off easily in the menu. [editline]01:16PM[/editline] Opera have commented on the link:
There are some reports about an old internal build of 10.5 being available. Don't run it, the official build on Tuesday is much better and you don't risk getting nasty trojans on you pc.
So it appears that this build is an older build, and the one they release tomorrow should have a lot of fixes. Also, don't worry about the trojan comment. The links I posted are 100% clean. Well, it seems that the old build is really old. Even after I limited the RAM usage to 60MB it went up to 200MB, all out of a sudden. Anyways, going to install that official thing tomorrow. :buddy:

But really, the current leak is a lot more stable than I expected, so hopefully the final version doesn't take them too long to complete. I think they should just skip 10.20 and implement the new widgets features in 10.50.
I want Carakan now :< About time they implement it.
I want Carakan now :< About time they implement it.
It could be in the build they release tomorrow. The people at Opera are hinting that the main feature of 10.50 is "speed". http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2009/12/17/christmas-comes-early-for-opera-users

It finally supports aero? Fuck yes, even though I don't use opera for anything other than a portable browser on ancient PCs running XP or below. Can anyone reupload it? All the download links are taken down.
GUYS! Officially release and it has the new Carakan engine! Available for Windows & Mac OS X

So let's see.. > For some weird reason FP is slow as fuck for me > I like how the personal bar is on the transparent part > Faceraper Settings now save > Finally good CSS3 support (rounded edges, glow and crap) > Popups look weird and aren't right-clickable But it's a pre-alpha anyway so that's all really alright.
> For some weird reason FP is slow as fuck for me
Are you using Faceraper? FP is lightning fast for me.
Are you using Faceraper? FP is lightning fast for me.
I've tried with and without. Speed is about the same. It's all nice and fast in 10.10
I've tried with and without. Speed is about the same. It's all nice and fast in 10.10
Did you do a fresh install? FP is as fast as ever for me. [editline]08:42PM[/editline] Download Squad posted V8 benchmarks: Very impressive. [editline]09:13PM[/editline] They say Opera 10.10 only scored 182.
Some specific known issues: High memory usage
:saddowns:
:saddowns:
It's not too bad for me.
Yeah, I'm currently trying to stress it a bit, to see what's it going up to and if I can fix it. Edit: What the fuck is going on? 60% CPU usage when watching YouTube videos.
I think I'll wait till there's an official release, but it looks pretty damn sexy.
I think I'll wait till there's an official release, but it looks pretty damn sexy.
http://labs.opera.com/downloads/ Official download there now. [editline]03:09PM[/editline] Wasn't expecting that.
Tested more browsers.
Yeah, this new Opera scored better than Chrome 4 in peacekeeper for me too. Pretty awesome.
http://labs.opera.com/downloads/ Official download there now.
I think he means that he's waiting for the official release as in a stable release candidate. That's what I'm too.
