Advil0, take note: this is what I did not do.
I'm sorry that I misunderstood you, okay?
Yeah, well, most people on these forums are using Windows, and yes, Apple is too retarded to make a simple media managing program run well on Windows. And your screenshot is still ugly compared to the Zune software.
It's funny how MS fanboys are constantly saying that Apple's all about the looks and not the features, however, I guess the tables have turned? Apple at least gave it a try. MS hasn't.

[editline]02:31AM[/editline] I actually have to put up with the shit that is iTunes, I'm not talking out of my ass when I say that it sucks.
The software is better than iTunes. We've established that. Now the player is better for music and videos than the iPod. But iPods are better for apps, ect.
Most Mac owners have boot camp, so.
They converted Office, why not "simple media managing software"?
They converted Office, why not "simple media managing software"?
Because Office actually generates money? The Zune software is a free download. They don't support their main competitors. I don't blame them, considering Apple is all "IF IT'S NOT MADE BY US THEN THEY CAN'T INSTALL OSX ON IT" whereas all Macs with Leopard/SLeopard have boot camp and can run Windows.
They would still generate money off of it, remember, songs kind of cost money?
But you're paying through your Microsoft account.
They would still generate money off of it, remember, songs kind of cost money?
You're totally ignoring the fact that 90% of everyone who uses a Mac can use Boot Camp and run it. OH WAIT. I forgot that 90% of people who use Macs have NO CLUE about anything computer-related.
and because they made the thing in the .net framework, so it will takes extreme effort to get it running on a mac
It is also important when buying an MP3 player that it's PC software is as easy to use as the device.
Who the hell installs the software that comes with their MP3 player? Most people will want to keep using whichever media player software they're already accustomed to.
The moment I got my Zune HD 32g I used up 10 gigs right away so the iPod touch would be a big disappointment for me :(
The moment I got my Zune HD 32g I used up 10 gigs right away so the iPod touch would be a big disappointment for me :(
You do realize that the iTouch comes in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions right?
Zune has one of the easiest and fanciest interfaces for any MP3 player. It's flashy while being simple at the same time. The Smart DJ is also an amazing feature, it will play songs from the artist you choose aswell as a mix of other artists with similar styles, if you buy the Zune pass it will even download and play any song from it's massive library. When compared to something like this. It's not hard to choose.
Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiis. Zune player is fucking fantastic and I want to to make love to it. iTunes is slow, looks awful, and has a fucking retarded song transfer system. If you want music and video, go for the zune, it has a nice screen and lovely software. If you want apps, iPod touch because of the more developed app store.
I want someone to play Texas Hold 'Em with! My name is IredBadger, add me!

So out of curiosity - anyone have any updates on when they might be possibly coming to the EU? And with an FM radio or something that's a bit more common than HD. I know it was announced they would not be US only, but there hasn't sadly been any new news as far as I know :(
Who wants to be my Zune Friend :3
I will =)
Yes well unfourtanetly that can't be done with apple products unless you somehow love Itunes.
Winamp, CopyTrans Suite, etc. Can't expect you to know that, though. Most people who talk shit about iPod touch/iPhone are very ignorant of them.
Yes, the main problem is that they aren't officially supported. And didn't someone say that the newest ones are only useable with itunes? Heard something about a slightly different database.
No, they all work with those programs. And who cares if they're not officially supported? That's a bad excuse.
I recently came into some money and was wondering if a 16gb zune hd is a good buy for only $200?
I have one, it's great and has awesome sound quality and usability. It's fun to use and very small and compact. BUT If you're looking for apps, or any sort of app database as well as good internet, Zune HD isn't the way to go. They have about 10 really lame apps / games, and the internet doesn't compare to an iTouch. Aside from that they're great for playing music.
I will =)
What's your Zune name, i'll add you
Zune needs a new version of the hardrive player hopefully with tegra. I don't get why everything has to be touchscreen and flash based. I want a good hardrive player thats powerful, and has a big hdd. I know they don't mix touchscreen and hdds problems with people dropping them, I just wish they would.
This is the software.
Muha, almost exactly what i see when i log on, good music(y) And yeh, Zune is much simpler. Ive never had an Ipod, I dunno why but they seem too something, dunno what to say but Zune always felt more friendly or something, bit of a dumb answer, but it gets you connected more, esspecially with the Social and what not. With an Ipod your a lone warrior. Getting the 32gb Zune Tommorow, the Apps will grow, its microsoft.
