Yeah, drop the new RAM and get a new PSU. I'll fetch one. Get this one: http://www.edbpriser.dk/Product/Details.aspx?q=ocz+modxstream&sp=all&pid=779805

What games are you actually trying too run? Going to eat now.
What games are you actually trying too run? Going to eat now.
GTA IV right now. Currently when playing GTA IV: 1920-1080 res, and everything on low, 2 car density, and view distance on the lowest possible too. I get like, 19 FPS in benchmark, and even lesser ingame. List: GTA IV Crysis (I can run it, but 800x600 is not that nice) the editor does not lag. CoD: BO on extra. I can't even run HL2: EP2 on everything "Very high" only if I turn off AA, and it looks fucking ugly w.o. AA. Dead Rising 2 on the higher graphics levels. I guess thats it...
[img_thumb] http://filesmelt.com/dl/2010-12-25_18.15_.26_.jpg[/img_thumb]
Ever heard of cropping or resizing?
The reason why you can't run GTA is because your CPU is too weak
Ever heard of cropping or resizing?
Yes. Ever heard about helping.
you probably want 4GB RAM as well [editline]25th December 2010[/editline] no merge

If you can squeeze out just a little more money, get the RAM too.
Ok, will look into it. But again, does a new PSU make games run faster. (I know I ama whore)
No, but you'll need it because if you cheap out, it may fry your entire computer. The other one is better.

I'm not much for builders PSUs though (probably because I don't know much about them), I'd rather go with the VX550 but it's more expensive. OCZ is great too though, but same wattage for less money - both respectable companies, I'd just go with whatever is cheapest.
the builder series is nothing special, corsair still uses OEMs (in this case CWT) so their "reputation" doesn't mean much other than their support
