I'd attribute that to the terrible angle of the screen. It looks great.
The "accidental" opening of wmp was no different than a mistake click of the mouse. That sort of thing happens, she touched it by accident. That's her responsibility not Win7's.

It really look horrible, I've tried using w7 on a touchscreen and it's horrible.
One question, have you used an iPhone/iPad? Like more then 5 min.

I own an iPod touch and a W7 tablet. And I like the latter. The former, not so much. Apps are great and all but I don't like how its OS is so locked down officially.

what does that have to do with how well the screen and os works?
The last sentence may be a little unrelated. The other two, however, are not.

For me, W7 on a touchscreen is definitely not horrible. Nor does it look horrible.

Why would I? It's overpriced and useless. I got the cheapest WinMo phone I could find, because, surprisingly it was the most open platform at the time, and I'll admit I'm a bit of an MS bitch.
Now of course we live in Android world. But not so back then, the choice was WinMo, Appleshit and custom Symbian lockin of doom.

It's YOUR opnion that's it's "overprices and useless". It still doesn't make the touchscreen bad, and do you really think the 20 million iPhones sold are just because people like apple?.... No, it's a good device, and it has a great OS, that's why people buy it.
I suggest you got to an apple store, and use an iPad for a while, to get the feel of the touchscreen, especially on games that use it well.
Only a retard never use the products of the company they have something personal against, if you REALLY wanna try to prove you're right you have to know both sides equally well.
I don't understand why everyone hyped up the fact that Windows 7 had "touch features" when every version of Windows from 2000 and up is capable of using a touchscreen for navigation. Wuite frankly, i hate touchscreens. They get dirty too quickly, are easily damaged, and there's no way to "protect" the screen from being crushed since it's exposed. (mostly touchscreen phones)

Who's talking about touch screens? Touch is awesome, the devices they control, not so much. Which is why the Slate looks so awesome, touch on a device that doesn't suck.

Windows 98 supported touch but what it is is a better integration and multi touch.

Show me some practical uses for it. Nobody can ever back-up their claim. :colbert:

The two statements don't go together. Do you want proof that it works or a use for it? The uses for it are pretty much the same given it doesn't have multi-touch.
Courier looked so cool :(
Except you're forgetting that WebOS isn't a giant piece of shit like the iPhones. With webos you actually have control of your device, and multitasking.
Multitasking is one of the features in the 4.0 firmware. Swing and miss.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear... I want to see someone use the "new touch features" (that are supposedly included within Windows 7) in an application people actually use on a day to day basis, or it's all just a fucking marketing gimmick.

Any multi touch like zooming and such.
How about that scrolling where you don't have to fiddle with a tiny scrollbar out to the side or that jump list where you don't have to fiddle with buttons or commands or gestures or whatnot to right click.
That's pretty everyday.
