Also, seeing the horrible structure MS has put their default bookmarks in, it's no wonder when shit gets lost.
Am I the only one who thinks default bookmarks, and possibly homepage should be an option during (custom) setup? I get annoyed at having to remove 5-6 bookmarks and 1-2 RSS feeds when I install Firefox.
Ah nice, I've been waiting for the new JS engine. I'll grab the update when it gets out of beta; I hate having two separate Opera installs on my computer.
No different than unauthorized websites distributing builds of Opera containing malware.
Could you elaborate on what this means? Because Opera isn't open source.
I'm using this with the Z1-Glass skin. It looks so awesome.
Could you elaborate on what this means? Because Opera isn't open source.
I'll tell you on IRC to not restart this again, but no I didn't mean "I hit compile" builds.
I love Opera, it's fast and accountable. I still use Firefox, I'm just more used to Firefox.
What about Chrome 5.0?
This.
Don't worry, he's just a big meanie
Rated heart for truth.
Actually he's a Premiere Tasty Roast Beef my good sir.
I tried to make an alt with that name but I'm limited to 15 characters :saddowns:
 Also, seeing the horrible structure MS has put their default bookmarks in, it's no wonder when shit gets lost.
That's not the normal structure though. All those folders in my screenshot are listed in my Favourites folder, Opera just decided to throw them about like confetti at a gay wedding
Wow, this is really, REALLY nice, I only wish there was some form of adblock for it, other than the built in one, which I can't seem to get frames to block.
Using it right now, it's really nice actually.
The "Z1-Glass v1.52" skin is really nice, it makes it blend in with Win7 perfectly.
Page rendering is all well and good but how about loading times?
I would use this but for some annoying reason my left and right scroll buttons don't work with it. They work fine in Opera 10.1 so I'm sticking with that.
I love how Opera looks and the menus are organized, but the lack of AdBlock sucks. Also, it's actually ALOT slower than Firefox for me.
I love how Opera looks and the menus are organized, but the lack of AdBlock sucks. Also, it's actually ALOT slower than Firefox for me.
It has it's own AdBlocker built in. You just have to block the content manually.
It has it's own AdBlocker built in. You'll just have to find the right list. LooperNor has actually been working on a new blocking app for Opera that updates automatically. Don't know what happened there.
How do I manually block ads? I see no menu to do so.
How do I manually block ads? I see no menu to do so.
Right click somewhere in the page and "Block Content..." [editline]12:23AM[/editline] On the page that is
I would probably use Opera if it didn't have a lame name, and was similar to chrome and firefox.
I think I got a bug, the text changes randomly from blue to black as I scroll across a page. [editline]10:29PM[/editline] Oh the text is transparent and is showing my background...

[editline]10:31PM[/editline]
I would probably use Opera if it didn't have a lame name, and was similar to chrome and firefox.
That's just moronic.
Is it just me, or does Opera Link have an error every time it tries to update?
Is it just me, or does Opera Link have an error every time it tries to update?
Just you.
Just you.
Strange, it doesn't work with the alpha or the beta.
Nicely customized my UI for netbook usage, it helps a lot on YouTube to save vertical space. http://twitpic.com/12zcl9/full (the tab bar disappears if there's only one tab) [editline]05:16PM[/editline]
Ah nice, I've been waiting for the new JS engine. I've used this beta for the last day at the same time as using Firefox. Firefox has performed at least twice as fast when compared to Opera's speed.
I've used this beta for the last day at the same time as using Firefox. Not really, I have been annoyed with Firefox being slow lately so I decided to try out Opera. It was even slower. It is not some scientific study that should be cited for some reason, but just my experience. I have it on the turbo mode now. It seems to be doing better. We'll see.

I just realized I forgot to add subscription to this thread. And I was thinking why I don't hear any news.
