Is there any sort of ad block for Opera? Adsweep didn't seem to work.
Built in bit torrent is pretty bad ass.
It sucks balls compared to actual bittorrent clients.
News Node messes up alot. It's either the news window working (the small box with another web page in it) and not the actual page itself and vice versa.
If I upgrade will I lose all of my bookmarks/favourites? It's very important that I don't...
I'm going to check this out considering I just formatted and don't have many bookmarks on firefox yet. [editline]10:22PM[/editline] This is pretty nice.
If I upgrade will I lose all of my bookmarks/favourites? It's very important that I don't...
I assume that is has a bookmark export / backup function.
New snapshot available. http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2010/02/17/no-rest-for-the-wicked
I stopped using the Opera beta when I went to log into facepunch and it told me I was IP blacklisted. Logged into it on Chrome and it was fine. :wtc:
Why are pictures in Facepunch and Facebook so low quality. [editline]03:26AM[/editline] Oh nevermind, I put it on Turbo boost.

RAM usage has dropped considerably in this build
Opera looks awesome. Glass Skin
RAM usage has dropped considerably in this build
That's good.
I like my Opera 10.0 Beta more. It makes more sense, it has the "File, Edit, View, Bookmarks, Widgets, Tools, Help" thing at the top, and all of my bookmarks are intact. I can't find a way to import bookmarks in 10.50, so fuck it. I'm so used to 10.0 I just won't bother upgrading.
Opera 10.0 Beta
Wow, this is so obsolete. And if you don't know how to transfer bookmarks, use Opera Link.

(Do a fresh install though. You should never upgrade from a beta to a stable) You can enable the menu bar if you want it back in 10.50. I agree with the person above. I use Opera Link to keep all my bookmarks, Speed Dial and whatever safely on their servers. It makes it easy for me to do fresh installs of all the build because all I need to do is log in to Opera Link to get all my bookmarks and stuff. But if you really want to do it manually, all you need to do is export the bookmarks in 10.0 and import them in 10.50. The importer is still there in the bookmarks manager.
Wow, this is so obsolete.
 It's a browser. I won't notice the couple hundred miliseconds difference in loading times. What makes it 'obsolete'? I don't need anything except mouse gestures, and the standard Opera layout (with a couple changes from default). I can get both of those from any version of opera past 7 or 8.
The Opera Link site is being a real dick. It's not letting me check my bookmarks I have on Link, but it lets me into every other section. This is ON the Opera browser.

It's not a matter of speed, it's a matter of security and stability.
Oh well I'll take your word for it. It's late and I'm too lazy to look into it. Upgraded to 10.10. It's the same as 10.0 beta, as far as I'm concerned, but you guys are telling me it's more stable and secure. Opera link worked great, thanks.
You did well.
That doesn't make sense. It's not like Opera changes your IP
Yeah exactly. Which is why I stopped using it.
Yeah exactly. Which is why I stopped using it.
Perhaps you had Opera Turbo on.
Why should Firefox have automatic ad blocking and Opera not? Well now you can get it for Opera as well! (Now with more sexy artwork thanks to Tu154M, go check out the awesome radio station he is hosting for: Shoutpunch.) <- Ad for awesome shit, my blocker won't block it, because it's awesome! Now onto the juice. This is a PRE-ALPHA. It's not done and nowhere near so. Therefore I ask you to send any bugs you find to loopernor@gmail.com or post it in this thread. You need .net framework for it to run, so go get it. (Google is your friend) NOW WHERE MA DOWNLOAD LINK. Right here: http://fpv-community.de/files/oblock/ (it's for the updater, which also serves as installer and auto-updater when there is new versions) Filesizes: Updater: 712kB (729*088 bytes) OBlock: 1,43MB (1*502*208 bytes) Shit it might fuck up: Itself. Opera. (Unlikely) Supported Opera versions: 10.50 Beta. 10.10 Beta. 10.50 pre-alpha. 10.50 labs. (p. much same as pre-alpha). Any Opera installation that supports urfilters and uses "%appdata%\opera\opera\" There ya go. No Mac or *nix versions available, probably won't be ever.
If you have a windows computer and want to use it on Mac/*nix, you can always just copy over the .ini file using something like Drop Box.
I block ads by myself.
New build also: http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/crash-fixing-performance-work-and-widgets-in-a-panel
oblock
So it's just a external application to automatically update urlfilter.ini?
I am experiencing some serious problems while using this beta, tabs are merging and websites are flickering on top of each other. Websites heavily equipped with flash and javascript elements tend to freeze.
