Put it in a mac and see what happens.
That thing uses a keyboard chip also used in the Apple Pro Keyboards (Mitsumi, A1048/US Layout)
It is an EEPROM device and there is no usable memory on it.
I suggest you throw it away because it will only make you get a credit card. Sneaky American Express people! Its dangerous though, these things can also be programmed to contain a link to a virus, plug it into any computers usb port and the computer gets infected.
I wonder how much american express spent on this marketing thing...
It's too small to contain memory.
And would cost too much to make if it did contain any.

I have a 2 GB memory module for my phone that's smaller than the flip out part on that card, so you can fit a fair amount on something that small.
But I agree that thing doesn't have any flash memory on it, it's like those magic jack things that only use an EEPROM to run scripts, etc.
