Not why I got them. They have some good fucking bass. I don't even listen to rap. Guh, fuck it, you guys hate anything remotely popular, why should I be surprised?
lol good bass
Haters gonna hate. Then come up with dumbass reasons trying to justify their hate. They may be expensive as hell, but they beat anything else they had on display in the store, which featured some 400-500 dollar Grados and Audio Technica headphones. These ones costed less and sounded better. And yes, they have some good fucking bass, provided you have a good player.
I just use any pair of over-the-ear headphones. Sony's usually do a good job.

Lol I didn't say that.
Lol I didn't say that.
Dr Dre Beats are excellent headphones lol, what is so shit about them? great sound, great noise cancellation and more stylish than the wooden ones posted here clearly :] The price is the thing that annoys people, simple fact: if you can't afford it STAY AWAY Thing is about having something truly quality like those, is that you would have to wear them in public.....get mugged within the first few minutes of wearing them and that's the end of that Not many people willing to spend over £300 on headphones really want a really funky looking pair of headphones, at that price mark its either class or substance, on substance those ones are sadly not going to be as truly accurate as some I've come across, and it definitely has no class There is a market definitely...teenagers and rappers who are filthy rich
There is a market definitely...teenagers and rappers who are filthy rich
both have money and neither know a shit about sound quality
I have a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones which I ise for my iPod Touch and my cell phone, and they have a built-in mic in the right ear-piece. I love them so much. I use them for gaming on my PC, and listening to music on my laptop. They sound flawless. I recommend Bluetooth headphones to anyone who's tired of dealing with corded bullshit. My laptop can be in my room playing music while I wander down the hall to the bathroom to take a piss, and not one hick-up of signal loss or distortion of any kind. It's quite nice, especially when gaming. You can stay in Vent chat without leaving the conversation when you walk away from the PC to do other things. I've gone wireless, and I'm not looking back. :keke:
I've gone wireless, and I'm not looking back. :keke:
before I try wireless, I need to be sure that the sound isn't demolished by the signal to the headphones, I dunno it just feels weird to not have a wire coming out of my headphones :D
before I try wireless, I need to be sure that the sound isn't demolished by the signal to the headphones, I dunno it just feels weird to not have a wire coming out of my headphones :D
The signal is fine, and the freedom of having no wires is nice. I no longer get my headphones caught in my bicycle wheels, no snags when bending over, no tangled wires to deal with, and I always hated it when the headphone jack got a break in the wiring.... pissed me off every time that happened. I've gone through at least 30 pairs of headphones just because of that reason.
my headphones broke last week and I have no money :sigh:
I've gone through at least 30 pairs of headphones just because of that reason.
have one pair of in ear headphones for cycling and one over ear for relaxing... then they will last longer using one pair of headphones for EVERYTHING that you do in your life will just destroy them! try detachable headphones like I have, sennheiser can supply me a replacement wire in no time
I've gone wireless, and I'm not looking back. :keke:
when i can't hear anything i will try low-quality bt headphones
both have money and neither know a shit about sound quality
Stop being dumb. The Beats are indeed very good headphones. Perhaps not 350 dollar material, but they're still very, very good.
Stop being dumb. The Beats are indeed very good headphones. Perhaps not 350 dollar material, but they're still very, very good.
not even for $150
not even for $150
Opinions. Everyone has a different ear for music, some people may love bass, others may prefer more treble. In my opinion, it's well worth the 350 and out-performed any Audio Technica or Grados that were available for even 100 more.
Beats aren't bad for earbuds, but all in all they're pretty shit compared to a good pair of over-ear sets.
Stop being dumb. The Beats are indeed very good headphones. Perhaps not 350 dollar material, but they're still very, very good.
yes good for $50 maybe
i actually have to stop being friends with people who buy and enjoy skullcandy earphones
I have a pair of HD201s for just general listening (if for whatever reason I can't have my speakers on), and that Fatal1ty headset from creative for gaming. HD201s are very comfortable, and have pretty good quality sound as well. The fatal1ty headset has those nice fabric (velvet?) cushions, so good for long gaming sessions. And the mic is pretty damn good as well
It also depends on what kind of person you are..... if you are a hardcore listener like me (hours on end) then comfort is truly priority, too much bass and I would feel like shit afterwards, yet too loud with high ends then I would have a massive headache in between.. Beats are great, but I seriously couldn't listen to my music collection for hours on end, they're good for general listening for about half an hour..
I don't see the point in spending a lot of money on a headset. A mid-range headset, i have the Plantronics Gamecon 667 headset and it cost me $40 AUS, and it does the job perfectly fine. For music games movies whatever the job. -Murderface.
I don't see the point in spending a lot of money on a headset. -Murderface.
most people reckon, the more you spend the better the headset does on the job If your happy with it doing what it does, price really doesn't matter
Exatly my point, thank you. -Murderface.
yes good for $50 maybe
Funny, I didn't ask for your opinion. They're worth 350 to everyone who owns them and worth it to me, and that's all that matters.
Funny, I didn't ask for your opinion. They're worth 350 to everyone who owns them and worth it to me, and that's all that matters.
sure, not bad way to spend 350, everybody needs $300 worth of brand in their headphones
Funny, I didn't ask for your opinion. They're worth 350 to everyone who owns them and worth it to me, and that's all that matters.
You have an affection for dr dre beats i see.... Snap out of it!!!! They are only overhyped headphones
I bought myself a pair of Sennheiser HD215s and I think they are probably the greatest headphones you can buy for such a price £40-£60 They're superbly comfortable and are very snug. They are rugged and look pretty cool which is one of the main reasons I bought them. The other reason I bought them was because the reviews it got were fantastic. "superb quality" "super comfort!" I buy them and plug em into my ipod and the sound is absolutely superb, then I give them to some of my mates to sample and its all like "NO BASS AT ALL" "WASTE OF MONEY" "THEY ARE SO SHIT" "SHOULD'VE GOT SKULLCANDY OR BOSE!" I was like.............right............. fuck you.......... I sampled skullcandys before and they were a pretty funky looking pair of headphones, then we listen to them and they are THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE headphones in the world, the background noise isn't drowned out well and the bass from the phones overpower the whole track and overall the skullcandy headphones which were about the same price as the ones above were quite shite indeed...... Bose use technology which is ONLY ever useful on aeroplanes and even my sennheisers don't sound bad on them..can really listen to them properly and all I can listen to my music with sennheisers for HOURS without any real itching and the need to really take them off, in fact I get quite annoyed that I actually have to take them off to listen to other people. Good headphones are only ever good when they deliver an ALL round experience with your music... if you want to deafen yourself, buy yourself some in-ear headphones.... There are some real dicks who buy dr dre beats headphones and walk around with them on the streets trying to look cool, those are £300 headphones which can only do noise cancelling pretty well and not much else I want to enjoy my music for hours, I rarely listen to things for short periods of time and the ONLY pair of headphones that have really delivered an all round service of comfort AND quality are the ones pictured. The ones costing £100 or more are really only meant for the studio and not particularly for leisure use. Headphones are meant to let you experience your music in a way that you really can't think about anything else apart from just the music, if the ones you have bought can't do so... then you've made the biggest mistake of your life
I understand what you mean. There is this kid in my second period who walks around with Beats by Dre, and thinks they are the best. To be honest, just because Dr.Dre puts his name on a set of headphones doesn't mean that they are fucking amazing. I personally have had at least 50 pairs of headphones in the past 4 years. I have tried a lot. I'm currently using my second pair of SkullCandy's (these bad boys ) I hated SkullCandy because my first pair died within the first month. I paid 40$ for them I was so pissed. But I got these on sale for 10$ and they are the same line. They are pretty good.

I still trust my Shure SCL-2 on the go and my $300 active monitors (and some shitty old creatives for surround effect) at home.
