Bit off topic but how easy is it to repair a scart port on the back of a TV? I've got a set I use for DVDs and I'd hate for the reason for it to be chucked out after 15 years is because the SCART connection is faulty.
The ones I have encountered have all been the solder joints breaking due to fatigue. I just cleaned them up with some solder wick and flowed in some new solder. All of them have been through-hole so fairly easy to repair.
Hey guys I got two Gemini SR 5 monitors, and I was wondering what Subwoofer to get to combo with them? I would have gotten the SR-10 from the same company, but I can't any on the market right now.
Also I'm fine if you guys tell me all I bought was shit cause I have no idea what I'm doing in the audio department.
When it comes to monitor speakers I'd always go for the subwoofer (In your case the SR-10SUB) from the same model range simply because they'll be voiced to complement each other. This is especially important if you use your monitor speakers for critical listening or mix decisions.
If you can't find any on the market right now I'd be inclined to find a local music shop that deals with that brand (I'm not too familiar with Gemini and I'm from the UK so I can't really help you in this regard) and give them a ring, ask them if they can order you one in. Chances are if they can get the SR5s in they can get you the sub.
