What kind of hibbery gibbery language you using then?
8 bits = 1 byte
What kind of hibbery gibbery language you using then?
He's right. Capitalize your b's boy :v:
512MB would actually be 4Gb
Doesn't make it any better, as nobody uses bits as a form of measurement for a desktop computer's ammount of RAM.
My 5870 doesn't exist according to this. Way to post something that is generally hated among everyone here.
Oh God, I love how you posted a thread about one of the most hated sites in the eyes of FP, with a screenshot using it to see if you can run one of FP's most hated games.
CanYouRunIt is horribly inaccurate and 99% of the time wrong. Very glitchy aswell.
Ahahaha before I even clicked the thread I called the content. It's a shit website and it's been around for like, 3 years now.
8 bits = 1 byte
I know 8B = 1byte and so forth. But i was saying that it's really innifective at analyzing if it cannot tell 4GB from a mistake of 512MB.
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=4Gb+in+MB&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=4GB+in+MB&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= edit: new page. Just backing up opaali since the guy before didn't seem to understand what his point was
512MB would actually be 4Gb Edit: wow 11 dumbs for stating a fact

I know 8B = 1byte and so forth. But i was saying that it's really innifective at analyzing if it cannot tell 4GB from a mistake of 512MB.
no, 8b = 1Byte

'tis Bullshit. I run the game at max settings, no aa 40 frames. bullshit.
How do you even make this type of mistake.
B = Byte b = bit 512 MegaBYTES is equal to 4 MegaBITS.
512 MegaBYTES is equal to 4 MegaBITS.
so wrong it's pathetic
This site is so inaccurate it's not funny >_>
512MB would actually be 4Gb Edit: wow 11 dumbs for stating a fact :smug:
That took me a full 30 seconds to comprehend. You clever bastard. [editline]02:02PM[/editline]
so wrong it's pathetic
Nope. :eng101: (It's a trick, the capitalization makes a difference)
Nope. :eng101: (It's a trick, the capitalization makes a difference)
nope 512MB is 4096Mb [editline]07:09PM[/editline] (it's a trick, the quantity makes a difference)
nope 512MB is 4096Mb [editline]07:09PM[/editline] (it's a trick, the quantity makes a difference)
you see, 4Gb is 4096Mb.
nope 512MB is 4096Mb [editline]07:09PM[/editline] (it's a trick, the quantity makes a difference)
are you retarded you corrected him for no reason
lol, my Pentium 4 computer can run Crysis
B = Byte b = bit 512 MegaBYTES is equal to 4 MegaBITS.
last I checked, 512*8 =/= 4
8b = 1B
The mistake I was talking about was even using bits. Memory isn't measured in bits. [editline]03:42PM[/editline]
are you retarded you corrected him for no reason
I don't think 512 MBytes fit into 4 Mbits.
How do you even make this type of mistake.
He means 512Megabytes = 4Gigabits.
The mistake I was talking about was even using bits. Memory isn't measured in bits. [editline]03:42PM[/editline] I don't think 512 MBytes fit into 4 Mbits.
Look at what I quoted.
Just to prove how useless this is I ran a test for crysis on my old XP netbook and apparently it meets recommend with a Intel Dual core Atom Processor at 1.6GHz. It also thinks it has a 4870.
How about you're all a bunch of idiots arguing about a capitalization error.
It does not even work on my computer.
COD4 lags like hell on 800x600 on low [editline]06:46PM[/editline] Also, integrated graphics
