I didn't really like Macs at all before OSX. But on the subject of old computers, check out the 1987 Amiga 500 , this would have been awesome in it's day.
My dad has a running Amiga 2500 with built-in 386 AND built-in Commodore 64! :D
I'd really love a G5. brb ebay
I'd really love a G5. brb ebay
I'd really love an Xserve RAID. brb ebay
I still have the first iMac G3 on the attic, 233 Mhz blueberry :P I upgraded the RAM to 192 MB, and VRAM to 6 MB. It was, and still is awesome.
Nice! Slot-load too! How do you find the hockey-puck mouse, by the way?
Why would you want one, of all things?
G3's aren't that old, I have a few of them. They're usable.
Well I hate using mine... only one button, and have to hold down Control to right-click... plus, it's not even optical, it uses a black and white ball that constantly picks up hair and dirt. :/
Perhaps that's because you're using it on a fucking carpet
Hmm. Let's see... The oldest mac I own is a Macintosh 512k and the oldest mac laptop I won I think would be my DUObook 230. I got other various vintage (as in no older than 1993) macs but they are just the usual 030 and 040 stuff. I used to have a Macintosh SE but I traded it for a NeXT Cube. EDIT: By the way, my two regular macs are a 9600 and a Blue and white G3. I upgraded both with G4 processors and maxed out the ram, video and I/O on both as well.
I'd really love a G5.
I''d kill for a quad G5. I have seen many go to the trash/under the PC modders dremel because of leaky cooling units and blown PSUs.

The PSU is mounted on the bottom and when a leak forms... (Cringe)
Wow I just had a dream that I had a blue iMac G3. Trippy.
I have a mac classic 2 and a powermac up in my attic, I'll try and work out which powermac it is. I believe it's a 7100. It has a fantastic keyboard, I wish I could use it with my current PC. [editline]06:19PM[/editline] I also have a clamshell iBook somewhere.
Try getting an ADB-to-PS2 adapter and hook that on a PS2-to-USB adapter.
That's a plan.
I got a strawberry G3, gonne ebay it soon. Also got a blue mouse for it, but yeah.

I want a Cube. :(
I want a Cube. :(
Ditto. :'(
I want a Cube. :(
Local recycler gets them every so often and sells them for $30 each however that is without the costs-its-weight-in-platinum PSU which seem to get separated from their accompanying cubes. People who pay $100+ for a PSU-less cube either have a PSU handy or are throwing their money away.
Ill take it $20 and its sold.:350:
I don't really fancy shipping to the states D:
Macintosh II. Thing was a beast. Had a 16 MHz Motorola processor, and came with 1 Mb RAM (mine had 2 megs :smug: ) Now I wish I still had it.
The max RAM limit was 20 MBs :smug:
Macintosh 512kED (second Macintosh) and an iMac G3 400mgz, blue with 128mg of ram and 12 gb HD.
