What's his prize?
Exactly what I got - NOTHING!
Why is this being patented http://www.photographybay.com/2012/05/18/apple-working-on-multi-point-focusexposure-selection-for-iphone/ Haven't third party camera apps for smartphones had these kind of things for a while? I know Camera+ on the iPhone did, and I bet there's Android apps that do too...
Apple would patent respiration if there was money in it :/
Standard ICS Camera app has touch focus, although not for 2 targets at the same time.
How well do you lot organise your folders on your main PC? I can tell you my desktop is fantastic...but my documents are another story.
My C:\ drive is pretty bland because I hardly use it for my actual files. Mostly just programs that don't play nice between Windows reformats. My D:\ drive is interesting though. The root of it is kind of disorganized (it's SORT OF a staging area, sort of just "i'm too lazy to find a good place for this shit"). How organized a folder is depends on which folder: - D:\media is pretty good, and the music and video subfolders are very nicely organized... - ...whereas I'd greatly benefit from installing Google Desktop just to use D:\Documents. - Games are split between D:\Games and D:\Steam\steamapps because I didn't feel like putting Steam inside D:\Games or doing any crazy symlinking shit. - D:\Installers is just "all my installers in one folder". I make sure they're named something other than "setup.exe" or something similarly stupid (usually prepending what it is in square brackets to the name if the name's not already there).

I love my new 120Hz display Only downside is when I use my laptop, and it feels like the cursor is stuttery because of the lower refresh rate :v:
How does an iphone camera "adjust aperture settings"
Welp, i killed that backlight. Turns out that the rest of those traces were negative. I put 12 volts in each individual group of LEDs when they only like 3 volts. :suicide:
I got that 2TB for $80 last year what the hell.
With the code it's only $100, not that much of an increase.

Finally got Mac OS X installed on my desktop. It's pretty nifty. Really, really different. But I did it just out of boredom to solve some problems, so whatever.
http://facepunch.com/threads/1184749 i enjoy pretending i know what's going on in that thread.
I was bored, so made Facepunch look like this: [t]http://puu.sh/vxUl[/t]
So Sipwicket, I come here proposing a friendly challenge. Coremark! http://www.coremark.org Sign up here and download the benchmark, fire up your most powerful box and get compiling, Post the highest score you can get. I'll start. I got 150962.385206 on a 3930k, DDR3-1333 C9 32GB 8x4GB on CentOS 6.2 with GCC 4.4.6. Post the score you got, what specs (RAM and CPU is all that really counts), OS and then what compiler. Don't post compiler flags, I want to keep those a secret until later. Otherwise people will start copying others and that's no fun. So, get to it.
After breaking multiple linux distro's and VMWare player, manually configuring network options and dns servers, i managed to get 15034.202811 on a stock 2500k (Single thread though), with 4GB ram in the VM. CentOS 6.2 and GCC 4.4.6 aswell. [editline]19th May 2012[/editline] [editline]19th May 2012[/editline] When using 4 threads i score less than when using 1. ~amazing~
