I went and got some old and broken stuff from a local service shop
among the things I got are old boards, an nvidia MX400 (graphical glitches, so, sadly, broken) and an old access point and since I don't know what the fuck it is but it has a connection for a wifi antenna and an ethernet cable I'm trying to see if i can make it work
and an old fax modem with the best toggle switch in the world

I could seriously entertain myself just flicking this thing on and off for hours
I wish computers still had power switches like this.

My Blackwidow sounds cheap compared to that. And my spacebar is half-broken too. :(

You'd be stupid for thinking otherwise.
Oh jeeze, I thought that clock in Diablo III was in game time as it was going quick. Now it's 1415......
Argh, finding the latest bios for this EPOX motherboard is a bloody nightmare.
Why the fuck did you have to go bust epox? why?

Ah, so that's the difference. I have the Silent version. It sounds less... clicky, but it's not exactly any quieter :v:

But. I've been buying Gigabyte for years...
Last mention of Diablo from me, but can someone explain actually what it is?
I understand at the moment I'm playing it single player but it comes up with latency etc. I just don't understand where the multiplayer aspect comes into play. Is it just co-operative in parties?
I saw this picture on Facebook.

Can anyone spot what's wrong?
No? Those are British power sockets.
They're clearly American emigrants.

You mean immigrants.

Diablo 3 is entirely server side, which is why you have a latency meter. (even though it is a single player game with coop)

Why would he mean immigrant?
Why would he mean immigrant?
When someone leaves their home country, their country would refer to them as emigrants.
When someone enters another country after emigrating from their home country, they are referred to by their new home as immigrants.

Ooh, my bad. Sunday morning fog.
My GPU goes to full power even when it's not needed. I'm using ASUS 560 Ti.
I don't really like my GPU going 80c on old games.

Try forcing V-sync through your video drivers.
http://www.prankdial.com/?
There's a bunch of prank call recordings on there and even one which allows you to connect a phone call to other phones (You can even spoof the caller id). I wouldn't be surprised if it was involved.
Yeah. Ended up being a service similar to that. Quite a clever way to do these pranks mind. Better than a random/ the same number every time.
Well that fucked that up. I have an non working asrock Extreme 3 Gen 3 motherboard with an old BIOS which doesn't work with Ivy Bridge. AND I don't have a Sandy Bridge anywhere...
And it seems I need a new Bios chip, this'll take another 4 or 5 days now. I can't believe this at all. Everything else works though.

It's like sex to my ears.
i wake up with a headache with many empty cans and bottles littered around where i'm sleeping and what feels like marker on my face, i'm gonna go check in my friend's mirror right now
this is probably what waking up after a night of being drunk is like
(in case you guys didn't know, what i meant by "spent a night screaming like a shitlord with 3 other 13 year olds, i'm at a birthday party)
[editline]20th May 2012[/editline]
(there was no alcohol, just excessive amounts of caffeine)
[editline]20th May 2012[/editline]
and there was no marker on my face, surprisingly

how did you pass out with caffeine
how did you pass out with caffeine
The effects are temporary. Once your body metabolizes the caffeine you feel tired from the lack thereof.
Ooh, my bad. Sunday morning fog.
I'm feeling that right now.
2 beers, 1 4 loko, a couple shots of UV blue, a mikes hard cranberry
First time really drinking.

Thanks, it worked!
