I'd turn female just to get fingered by him
It'd be over before you realised it had started. [editline]21st May 2012[/editline] And you'd enjoy every non-second of it.
I just now moved my 24 port 72" power strip to the bottom of my desk. Looks much cleaner. No cables on the ground besides my phone cable. To make it look clean, I had to bunch a lot of cables together. I am somewhat worried about loss of efficiency in the cables.
I like my L-shape setup, I have everything I need next to me. [t]http://i.imgur.com/XfYT0.jpg[/t]
unfortunately i don't have very much space so i can't do stuff like this...
I want to have an L shaped desk so I can have actual desk space for books and writing.
Check if the northbridge heatsink has detatched or something
It probably hasn't, since it's been getting that hot since I got it. It's an HP desktop, what more can you expect.
i tried to do a typing thing but it failed horribly because I have like nowhere I can position my phone where my typing is visible, unless I want to completely cripple my typing.
Is it just me, or is Facepunch running like CRAZY slow?
I like my L-shape setup, I have everything I need next to me. [t]http://i.imgur.com/XfYT0.jpg[/t]
I'm stuck with this for my desk. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5733962/Phone%20Camera/20120520_175703.jpg[/t] I need more space.

Though I suppose for videos you might want something completely silent in case your mic picks it up.

Holy shit. Why did no one tell me the HAF 912 was so silent? I got the chance to build a PC for my friend (finally). Stuck it all in a HAF 912 and holy fuck it's so silent. Ivy Bridge too, i5 3450, 8GB DDR3 1600 ($4 more expensive over 1333 for the lot, there's no reason not to) 1x 500GB WD Blue, 2x1TB WD Blue in RAID-0, Sapphire/AMD HD 7770, 600W Silverstone Strider PSU. Everything was going so smooth, then one of the USB 3.0 connectors at the front broke, the blue plastic part came out when we pulled out a keyboard USB plug, so gonna contact coolermaster about that later. Otherwise, very happy. Windows is installing right now.
brt, what happened to the mech that david tennant bought you?

Quick question, would enabling swap space on my raspberry pi bugger the SD card faster due to near constant read/write access? [editline]21st May 2012[/editline] Okay, I've re allocated the memory so RAM shouldn't be an issue anyway. Its running headless, so no need for 128Mb of RAM for the GPU.

Alright, new gaming rig coming within the week. As someone who likes the whole "console experience" of a gamepad, couch and TV, but prefers PC gaming, I'm setting it up to cater to that. Problem is, all my stuff is wired - so I'm looking at getting some new peripherals. I'm probably going Logitech F710 for the gamepad, G700 for the mouse, and I'm not sure about the keyboard. (Any suggestions?) Also, what would be best for keyboard and mouse while lying down? A lapdesk or something? Or will an aluminium mousepad be all I need?
What cooler?
Stock. It's tinnnyyyyyyy
I've never been able to get comfortable with a keyboard and mouse while lying down. Ever. You'd be better off getting a good/decent keyboard/mouse combo for your desk, and a cheap wireless mouse and keyboard as well as a good wireless controller.
I thought the X360 wireless gamepad was like the best choice for PC gamepad gaming unless you really want the dualshock design
I have a Logitech F310 and am super pleased with it (though obviously need to move to wireless now), plus I prefer the layout (as I've always had Playstations). Is there any significant disadvantage to the F710?
I thought the X360 wireless gamepad was like the best choice for PC gamepad gaming unless you really want the dualshock design
I got the Xbox gamepad (wire version but still) to fly stuff in Battlefield 3 and i absolutely love it. It's been great for stuff like Shank too
I got a cheapo x360 USB controller from china for like :10bux: It was very light and I assumed it didn't have any vibrators in it, but after 30 minutes of playing GTA with it I realized that it had been vibrating the whole time :v:

God damnit One of the fans in my Thermaltake Armor is grinding and it's behind the radiator that's nigh impossible to get off (leftover from when I tore out the liquid cooling) Don't really want to budget for a new case but it's getting bad (and I have no 3.5 bays and no free 5.25 bays)
