http://astretchyhand.com/
best thing I want one of those now [editline]23rd May 2012[/editline]
Weird. My bosses, as you may recall, are all Apple guys. They're not Macfags - they're reasonable people - but every company computer is Apple. Macbooks. Mac Minis. An old Xserve. iPhones and iPads. While waiting on my fucking laptop, I'm using a Mac Mini. Not particularly bad - considering all that needs to run is Komodo and ssh, it's more than powerful enough. Only reason I even mention it is that it means I use a Magic Mouse (aka the touch mouse with no buttons). It's actually not bad - I actually like it for coding, although it would be terrible for gaming and such. The "swipe through desktops" is particularly useful. But that fucker chews through batteries like nothing. Two AA batteries will last about two weeks - I had to replace them today because the thing completely died over my lunch break. Interestingly, the red "low battery" light just came on at my home computer. Logitech M315. It's good, it's small, and it was literally the cheapest mouse I could find. The single AA battery in it, though, lasts about 4-6 months, depending on how often I remember to turn it off (aka never). Just an interesting thing.
Do you recommend it? I've been looking for a decent wireless mouse for my netbook, I hate unplugging my desktop's to carry it to school. Also, how's the battery consumption of wireless recievers? I kinda don't want to add another thing that draws a lot of battery power to it.

No battery problems, ever.
I have a G500. Wired. No battery problems, ever.
I hate wired mouses. My wireless V450 goes about 12 months on 2x AA batteries
My ModMic arrived (just 6 days from the US to the UK!) and boy was I surprised when I saw the packaging. I hadn't seen any unboxings, just audio tests. And it's even signed with a thank you note by the CEO! I love companies like this. [IMG_thumb]http://u.cubeupload.com/ijyt/20120523110215.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
lrn2plural
What?
Anyone tried this? [t]http://i.imm.io/qdO1.png[/t] It's silent for me.
"Mouses"
Where the fuck did I write mouses? [editline]23rd May 2012[/editline] Oh wait the post above me. I actually thought I was going insane. :downs:

That Google synth works fine in Firefox, but shits its self in chrome... Nice!

Works for me on chrome, what
Group buy go [editline]22nd May 2012[/editline] you guys need to convince the US people to reship it for us
MyUs.com costs about $15 to ship one over, to the UK at least.

If I ever get a desktop Mac, I'm either getting a Trackpad or a good ol' USB mouse. [editline]23rd May 2012[/editline] Also, I think my laptop's cooling system is broken. Again. Never buying Acer laptops again, fucking piece of shit. Whelp, no time like the present to save up for a Mac, I guess.

It's the best mouse I've ever seen for $20. Only problem is that it can be a bit awkward to hold at first, since it's shorter, lengthwise, but still the same height as a regular mouse. Don't know how much power the little USB bit uses, but I doubt it's much. Back when I used it on a laptop, I never noticed a difference in battery life from it.
I got the M180, I hold it so awkwardly :/ [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5483751/Photos/2012-05-23%2014.01.33.jpg[/t]
That's probably the most unique way I've seen anyone use a mouse

I have no idea how you're going to survive with that. [editline]23rd May 2012[/editline] I love 7zip. It compressed the contents of my flash drive from 2.8GB to 1.2GB on Fast mode, LZMA2.

I broke apart one of my spare floppy disks and used it as solder to fill in the crack. [editline]23rd May 2012[/editline] And the fucking optical drive is dead, its actually the controller on the motherboard as it does the same with every drive I plug into the thing.
I nudged my computer before i went to bed and now it doesn't recognise anything in the top PCIe slot, this is horrible.

All this on an almost 2 year old laptop. Acer has some of the WORST build quality I've ever seen.

"Frustration-Free Packaging" is the name of that.
"Frustration-Free Packaging" is the name of that.
It needs to be used on damn well everything.
