why is it that loading screens always freeze up the steam overlay, just when i want to be using it.
Not to start up the car discussion again, but I'm wondering - how do you guys need a car? I know that public transportation and the bicycle roads might not be as good as in Denmark, but wouldn't it be cheaper with either of those? Even with US prices on cars and gas. Also, I realize that some of you might live a million kilometers from school and in that situation, I understand the choice fully.

I might be wrong, but I think Steam intercepts the game's DirectX calls or whatever, and alters them - maybe the fps on the overlay is dependent on the game? It's probably some other reason, but this could be your a little more fly explanation.
How much space does Windows 7 take on a fresh install?
I think it's around 9gb?
How much space does Windows 7 take on a fresh install?
16GB for 32 Bit, 20GB for 64.

Those are the recommended for all Professional and up, the install may only be 11GB but you gotta have the extra space for pre-installed programs and app data and whatnot.

ah, makes sense.
Plus all the backups and stuff it makes takes up space.

Since a year ago they've been letting 17 year olds drive here, not good..
Dicking around at mcd, I decide to check free wifi network stuff. Found four printers.
Did the sensitive thing, printed "PROTECT YOUR SHIT" in page wide impact in all four of them

I'm a little uncertain using an SSD for my games, the OS and the other stuff. Should I just use the SSD for something else and get two F3 hard drives instead?
I'm a little uncertain using an SSD for my games, the OS and the other stuff. Should I just use the SSD for something else and get two F3 hard drives instead?
I use my 60GB SSD for most applications, and then a few games - it works out fine most of the time. I have a 500GB F3 as well, and I use it for steam backups of games (for fast installation) and some non-steam games. If you feel like having more than a few steam takes installed at once, you can link directories to each other in Windows 7. That way steam still thinks that the games are in the steamapps folder, while they are placed on your HDD.

I use my SSD for windows, steam (but steamapps is on F3), and Kerbal Space Program

I have Production Premium as well to install. While the videos get rendered into the F3, as well as other stuff like fraps videos and backed-up video/Android smartphone footage. Is that efficient or not efficient enough?
so I was scrolling through my Dropbox

There should be a metal bar under it, is that properly fitted?

It's edited. I doubt that you could a spacebar to do that on a cherry switch without breaking the stem.
