I'm Australian too :saddowns:
Nothing scales like COBOL[citation needed], you forget it is the most used language in the world[citation needed], well competing with Java[citation needed].
Fixed that for you.
Are they still selling those? How much is the shipping?
I'm Australian too :saddowns:
Same here. :saddowns:
Fixed that for you.
First one is just a saying. Second, one is both common sense and knowledge. There are, no estimate, over 200 billion lines of code (btw that's about 80% of all the worlds code right now) active right now. It's a business language, it's used on basically every mainframe ever past the 1960's. Proper estimates of current LOC is about 222 billion with about 2 to 4 billion being added every year. I don't think 2 coders could do that. It's a legacy enterprise language, no one's moving to it, it's all legacy customers. It's 50 damn years old, it's had the time to get the size. There's no questioning it. You're very rarely going to see it outside a mainframe system. Java is only big due to it's massive use in embedded applications. Find me a DVD player that DOESN'T have some component of Java in it, due to obvious reasons (Write once, use anywhere). C is big, but doesn't compare, even when counting C++. [editline]29th May 2012[/editline]
Same here. :saddowns:
Not a competition. [editline]29th May 2012[/editline] Oh and btw, PHP still sucks.
Just got my JVC HA-RX700s HOLY FUCK THEY ARE HUGE and sound amazing. and are comfortable as fuck [editline]29th May 2012[/editline] Also, isn't opera going to be bought out by facebook?
Pepper;36118255']Also, isn't opera going to be bought out by facebook?
That's just a rumour. Nothing's confirmed yet.
1) And what should I use instead? ASP? Ooh, maybe Perl-CGI?
Python. It's about as capable of "dropping into output mode" as PHP is. Only instead of surrounding your code in <?php shitGoesHere(); ?>, you surround your large chunk of output in this
print """ Shit goes here. Note the three quotation marks at each end of this. """
the one thing PHP has going for it though is that named string thingy. what are they called I forget...

7zip. How can I not love you? LZMA2, normal compression. 2121MB to 229MB.
So a friend of mine introduced me to teracopy why isn't this embedded in everything
So a friend of mine introduced me to teracopy why isn't this embedded in everything
I had my doubts that a program could copy shit faster. Then I used TeraCopy.
So a friend of mine introduced me to teracopy why isn't this embedded in everything
I have but one problem with Teracopy. It's nice, for sure, but when I was backing up a lot of shit one day, I had to copy over nearly 1 Terrabyte of shit, Windows default was slow but worked, never crashed, but Teracopy kept crashing at the 500GB Mark. Every time.
Did you try to move the files in three portions of 333GB or something like that
http://www.defenceindepth.net/2011/09/cracking-os-x-lion-passwords.html Discovered this still worked on one of my friends laptops. CMD + S while booting, and muck about in the command line and got into my friends laptop. That was way too simple.
Did you try to move the files in three portions of 333GB or something like that
That's what I ended up doing, yeah. Still annoying. Other than that, I love Teracopy.
My only annoyance with teracopy is that it can't copy into directories that need administrative privileges. I should probably disable Uac though.

Need to play other multiplayer games? NOPE.
Or in my case, need to anything online? YEAH RIGHT
My only annoyance with teracopy is that it can't copy into directories that need administrative privileges. [editline]29th May 2012[/editline] Anyway, I feel like I should take an indefinite break from Facepunch. So I'll see you whenever.
I'm a retard and I deleted the partition table on my hdd, but I somehow managed to recover it and now my system won't boot. Can anybody help? http://superuser.com/questions/430208/how-can-i-recover-a-lost-mbr-boot-sector

Sim City 5 will be incomplete without this guy.
