Um... yes... There is no other way around it. Or record 1200p and scale it. There is no magical way. This is why on my 2560x1600 screen I spent so much time trying to make a 2560x1440 res to so 16:9 recordings.

Also I tend to play in 1080p or 1440p anyways. I only play in 1600p if I don't plan on recording ever. BF3 at 4mp looks amazing.
Just realized I've had Fantasy Grounds sitting in my PC since that one time a guy invited me to a D&D game and the whole thing got called off.

WHAT THE FUCK?
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME MY LAPTOP IS ALREADY FUCKING DEAD Three and a half hours. Three and a half FUCKING hours, between FedEx dropping it off and the thing dying. That has got to be some sort of record. I'm 99% certain it's completely dead, but on the slim chance that I'm just a moron, here's the symptoms: 1) While running off battery power (to see how long it lasts), shit just cut off. With ~80% battery. 2) Trying to restart causes the status lights to flash on, and the keyboard backlight to flash, and sometimes a bit of static from the speakers, but then everything just cuts off. Screen never turns on, fans and hard drive never spin up. 3) Nothing I've tried has fixed it: > Removing battery, running off just AC > Charging battery back to full (as shown by battery indicator light) > Removing charger, running off just battery > Letting unit sit, no power, for 10 min to let any residual charge dissipate > Swapping hard drive with known-good drive (kind of a long shot, but worth a try) It seems like a short, but there's no signs of any loose screws or wires. And there is absolutely no fucking way I've damaged it myself - I hadn't even had time to pop open the cover before it fried.
Maybe even after you let it sit with no power/battery for a while there's still a teeny tiny residual charge that could be messing with it (I may be pulling this out of my ass, but it happened to a friend of mine so yeah... left it for an hour and still wouldn't come on till he did it himself) Try that hold down power button for 30 secs (or however long it was) w/ nothing in it trick though I doubt that's really it because that's an asus not an HP like my friend's (I WARNED HIM, HE BOUGHT IT ANYWAYS)
Pepper;36166874']DBAN 'nuff said
I say we nuke the thing from orbit. Its the only way to be sure.
No, that's not good enough, we must launch it into the sun.
Black hole. THAT OUTTA DO IT.
With the other end pointing at the sun
Pepper;36167016']With the other end pointing at the sun
Black holes don't work like that... How about make sure it goes into a star about to go supernova, so it eventually ends up in a black hole?
THEY COULD SHIP IT AT WARP 10 (NEXT-GEN WARP SPECIFICATIONS, NOT ORIGINAL SERIES) AND IT STILL WOULD NOT BE FAST ENOUGH
But that puts you at every point in the universe at once... And turns anyone aboard into some kind of wierd salamander.
Black holes don't work like that... How about make sure it goes into a star about to go supernova, so it eventually ends up in a black hole?
or you could just recycle it and be environmentally friendly
