Trying to compare different brands of CPU's with their clocks is like trying to compare an orange with an apple based on their fruitiness.
You just can't do it.
it's a sign

You can do it, you'll just be wrong.
It seems, that at last we content has arrived.
Kill them.
If that could be done through my computer, I would done that a long time ago.
I noticed it when my Minecraft command prompt moved from the corner of my eye.

Your setup really is insecure, huh.
I found this if it matters. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_CPU_architectures
Well, speaking of physically comparing CPUs, the one I had in my old computer was a 32-bit and joined with another one, to make a total of 64-bits, but can't run 64-bit apps in this case, because, well, if this logic was applied, and one CPU gone out, shit hits the fan from that point.
So you had a dual core 32bit processor?
That just means you have two cores each 32bits wide, it doesn't add up.
Neither does clockspeed for that matter.
Seems like it stopped. 5 or so try to connect.
All different IP's.
One of them connected.

Oh wait, they left.

Firewall rules are not the easiest thing to manage.
Because I'm to fucking lazy to try and install the mod on the server

And that's why you shouldn't be running a server.
Hmm, no disconnect error.
Does this happen if the client doesn't have the mods the server uses?

Jesus fucking christ.
Even I know more computing 101
And firewalls 101
Are you seriously this dumb

I don't know, I guess
And that's why you shouldn't be running a server.
Well, fuckit. If I notice something, I will just try rearranging my rules somehow.
Unless you know of a good firewall program. ZoneAlarm doesn't seem to have a way to open ports.
This is not Minecraft tech support.
You know what, maybe instead of making fun of CIPWTTKTs, we should try to help them. I'm sure between the lot of us we can write up a decent "teach yourself to computer" thing...

You could use IPTables.
And I'm hinting at something with that.

I've been more or less trying.
Firewall rules are not the easiest thing to manage.
Oh wow, the trick is not to go willy nilly forwarding every single port you can find to your computer.
port 80, 5900, and 22 are the only ones that go to my server, in your case you forward minecrafts port too, but that is all you should do.
Any protocol that can take control of your computer like VNC or SSH must be passworded properly otherwise you are just asking for it. In fact, my larger web server only accepts SSH connections from the LAN.
What are we doing.
Computers
*Sigh* will running it in a virtual system work?
*Sigh* will running it in a virtual system work?
That will make it easier to clean up after when it dies, but it doesn't inherently add any kind of protection.

Indeed we are.
And this is computers.
Computers.
Anyways, I assume I will become a pageking.
so reposting the post I just made.

You need to learn how to sysadmin, comrade.
Help :c

Sounds like a great idea. Too bad nobody would read it though.
Help :c
To mend your issues I would recommend violently mashing your router with a hammer until the lights go out. Now nobody can fuck with your server :D

Then I would fuck up a 100$ router
[editline]2nd June 2012[/editline]
Will moving everything from the file that holds the server to the linux server work?
Then I would fuck up a 100$ router
But no one would fuck up your shit?
But no one would fuck up your shit?
Again, 100$ wasted and it would a bitch plugging in 2 devices on our already full modem.

Ok then. Just unplug everything. No money wasted, infact you would be saving money by saving power.

Anyways, lets stop the joke fest.
Getting Unbuntu Server.
Again, will moving the file that has all the server files to the linux server work?
