I would agree with you there actually. Ironically, my Dad actually got one of the Vostro laptops, and it is far better than the Inspiron in terms of build quality and price to performance. I didn't expect it to overheat though since it uses a newer, slightly lower clocked i5.
Your mileage may vary, I guess. My brother's Core 2 Duo Vostro was the definition of a lemon. From the plastic casing to the nvidia GPU, nearly everything needed to be replaced.
I hate HLSW. No one on our network can log in without timing out and when I try to get chat logs from the server it says it can't find my IP address. Obviously it's on our end as every google result has told me but it's unblocked everywhere in everything, the only thing that's missing is that the UDP port for it is closed. But it should be fine anyways since it worked before on the same router, same modem, same computer. Something would have had to change by itself, randomly. MAN am I confused. Guess I'll have to stick to the web console.
I've never had much problems with HLSW myself. I only don't really get why you needed an account for something you use locally, but whatever.
the fuck is this shit.

He's had it for a couple of months traveling with it and it's in good condition so far.
the fuck is this shit.
That is a really good prediction what will happen really soon with Opera, after Facebook acquires it. I am already liking this filter.
I've never had much problems with HLSW myself. I only don't really get why you needed an account for something you use locally, but whatever.
Was trying to use Zeriga's account since it was already set up for everything. But we got it re-set up for offline mode so that part isn't much of an annoyance anymore. So two weird things are going on. One, HLSW randomly stops working the way it's supposed to. Two, suddenly my router won't accept the password anymore to log into it so I can open that closed UDP port to see if it really had anything to do with it, when the password used to work fine. Makol, does your infinite malicious power affect routers, too?
They almost won't even let me log onto the wifi.
At least they let you use Firefox. I install that and Chrome on every machine and when Chrome fails I fallback to Firefox
FP appears to be making Google Chrome hang for some reason..
Because google chrome is garbage.
Because google chrome is garbage.
I respect your right to have an opinion but your opinion is just plain wrong.
That's buttsex for ya
That's buttsex for ya
No wonder I've never wanted to try it :v:
the hell? A Cooler Master customer support rep just hung up on me as I was explaining an issue I having with one of their CM Storm mice. A+ customer service right there (not the first time this happened today with them!).
Nowadays, I like Firefox much more than Chrome. But when I have to use chrome for some reason, I do it just fine. Just that Chrome has been having some issues for me lately.
I respect your right to have an opinion but your opinion is just plain wrong.
ok have fun scrolling past 4 mb pictures for half an hour I'll be over here enjoying Firefox nightly builds
I have never had an issue like the with Chrome, it loads pictures just fine thank you.
So we have about 6 working widescreen LCD monitors we need to sell. Half of those are in storage for some odd fucking reason. I'll get a list if model numbers up tomorrow.
ok have fun scrolling past 4 mb pictures for half an hour I'll be over here enjoying Firefox nightly builds
I never get lag from that. Maybe it's just you.
ok have fun scrolling past 4 mb pictures for half an hour I'll be over here enjoying Firefox nightly builds
oh wow you think Chrome is awful because your PC is shit and then you say you use nightlies which aren't really stable

I still prefer FF, though.

I did some searching and it appears that Bell Aliant invested 30 million dollars into our city 4 months ago for their FiberOP service. From the article I found, it should be ready by the end of the year. I looked up their prices and holy shit. $29 for 30 megabits SYMMETRICAL and $69 for 70 megabits down and 30 megabits up. For a comparison, it's like $63 for 20/1 cable here. TWO providers in our city with fiber? I though I would have to move to another country for these speeds, prices and competition. Now it's going to be difficult to move away after I finish school, haha.
Anybody here any good with Hackintoshes? nobody ever views the hackintosh megathread... I'm having trouble getting AC887 audio working, I've used these kexts: http://www.osx86.net/view/2122-10.7.2applehda_1.9.9f12_for_alc887.html and then installed the appropriate Non DSDT HDAEnabler from MultiBeast, ran the kext utility and rebooted and it's still not working. Not sure if this is the best place to put this but I thought I'd ask.
What steps other than changing your password can you take if someone has hijacked your email?
What steps other than changing your password can you take if someone has hijacked your email?
Change recovery questions. Keep your IP the same.
Youtube is trying to delete inactive subs and accounts to make numbers more realistic. Unfortunately they are removing legit subs. People are losing subs and then people wonder why they aren't getting their subscriptions content. It's silly.
Wondering when I get a new computer if I should take the 7770 out of this computer and get another to crossfire (~$130) or sell the 7770 for around $80 and buy a 670 (~$320 out of pocket). Any suggestions? I find it difficult seeing the point in spending $200 more for a small performance gain.
small performance gain? what?
