what? What in that quote could I possibly need to cite?

that's not the way to win an argument.

Do you seriously have to ask?
When you make sweeping generalizations about the user base of a product you have to ask if you really need to cite your sources?
it's literally the online equivalent of LALALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU
I think the next generalization he will make is that everyone that uses a Windows PC, since it hold the most market share (just like Chrome), is a faggot.
So far, I've tolerated Fox News.

they're just trying to grab readers with the headline
but still that's fucking ridiculous
it's like saying that insects and humans are closely related because they're both carbon based life

And what's the difference between that and what you're doing? Both are equally arrogant.

90% of chrome users got caught up in the FASTER WAY TO BROWSE bullshit they use to advertise it, and the other 10% just eat up everything google says

I let Steve stare at me all night.
I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP I hate HP
NEVER
NEVER AGAIN
AM I EVER BUYING ANYTHING OF THE HP BRAND
NEVER AGAIN AM I BUYING A GOD DAMN PREBUILT
Why? Why!?
BECAUSE ALL HP COMPUTERS (and most other prebuilts) DO IS TRY AND FUCKING SUICIDE IF YOU DO ANYTHING ON IT IT WAS BUILT FOR.
"Oh? Oh? What's this? You want to use a second monitor on the VGA port because the monitor you're trying to use is too old for anything else? TOO BAD! My VGA port is not connected to the ATI (PCI-e) card. It's connected to the motherboard's onboard!"
Well, fine. I'll go into the BIOS and try to switch to the onboard temporarily to try and see if I can do anything with that.
"NOPE, SORRY, NOW THAT YOU'VE DONE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU." *Constant page fault in nonpaged area BSODs after switching back to the PCI-e*
Why do these things happen to me?
Granted if it's software related I can always factory reset if reinstalling video drivers doesn't work but I think that means I lose everything on my hard drive that I don't have backed up.
Wonderful time for my external to have been formatted to a file system my desktop can't use for use on something else. I knew it was gonna happen! It was going to wait till I had nothing backed up anymore, and do... This. Or something else nasty.
For the record I wasn't the one doing this. I let someone else do it that has equal (or possibly even higher) technical knowledge as me.
In that case I wouldn't have any reason to blame myself like I usually try to do if something goes wrong.
Edit by Zeriga on Scoot's Desktop: Hey Scoot, I fixed it. :v:
guys shut the fuck up
i agree with buttsex that firefox is better due to the customizations i have on it but jesus fucking christ you guys this is the dumbest argument we have ever been in
90% of chrome users got caught up in the FASTER WAY TO BROWSE bullshit they use to advertise it, and the other 10% just eat up everything google says
Or I just liked the way Chrome works better than Firefox. Firefox feels sluggish to me, and I HATE the separate search and URL bars.
So following your math, and adding me to the equation, 101% of Chrome users agree that it is a good browser.
hahahahhaha
no

As compared to your method for arguing, which consists of "nu-uh!" and incomprehensible cursing.

I like the way chrome works, I have all the shortcuts memorized, I make plenty of use of addons, the "Recently Closed" dropdown, and I like how the UI doesn't have any bullshit, it's just tabs and a URL/search bar.
Either way it's still apples and oranges and the only point you've made, still yet to be factually proven, is that advertising works.

you've got false clause, straw man, irrelevant conclusion, and converse fallacy all neatly packed in one statement
he's always been this way about firefox
He clearly hasn't reached max-level of fanboyism.
When you hit max-level like me, you just don't care and let people use another and just explain that what you use works for you and that there's nothing wrong with something else.
you've got false clause, straw man, irrelevant conclusion, and converse fallacy all neatly packed in one statement
don't you dare talk about logical fallacies
all I'm going to finish up with is that we live in a time where performance between browsers isn't staggeringly or even noticeably different, and that in the end it's down to the user's tastes and preferences. it's like saying coke is better than pepsi, sure I like both and prefer coke but I'm not about to be like "pepsi sucks" because i enjoy pepsi too. saying that one is objectively better than the other is just plain stupid.

at least I'm backing up my points with at very least subjective information, everyone else is just saying NOPE NOPE NOPE
I think we have established that buttsex is a firefox fanboy

Basically what you should be saying is "I like the way Firefox works for me. It works well on my machine. Chrome doesn't. If I get a better machine, or it improves for older hardware, I'll consider it." Not "Chrome is garbage. Everyone that uses it got caught up in the hype."
There is legitimately nothing wrong with Chrome that isn't also an issue in any of the other browsers available to me.
I've got the option to use all of these:

and I choose Chrome because it works the best for me.

it's not a performance issue though, it's more secure than Internet Explorer (and Chrome according to some rumors about Google storing everything you've ever done, but those are probably just rumors) and has a smaller footprint than opera (not to mention that it's open source)
I think pepsi is pretty gross by the way.

I'm using a 3.8 GHz 6 core processor with 8 GB RAM and a 6870, and have both browsers installed on an SSD. I'm pretty sure that older hardware isn't the issue.
