I remember playing that same wad. Unsurprisingly I had the exact same thing happen to me as it did to you. "coast is clear" *DEAD* :suicide:
Amazon order finally arrived. Opening a hardcover book for the first time, mmmmhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Feels good.
Amazon order finally arrived. Opening a hardcover book for the first time, mmmmhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Feels good.
what book?
what book?
Art of Intrusion. Also, those fuckheads at Amazon sent me the wrong edition Action Replay. This one doesn't have the Media Player. Fucking amazing.
challenge amazon to a duel
I sent them a very angry (read: polite) email about the matter.

Me and David Tennant have decided. WEI is the best and most accurate benchmark ever made.
It just makes so much sense.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/JCBQT.png[/thumb] I went to my orders to check what the hell they're sending me. It's the same listing as what I ordered originally, if I get yet another regular Action Replay instead of the EVO, I will laugh my ass off and demand a refund.
It just makes so much sense.
I mean, I don't understand why we still use clockspeed and cores to measure speed, why don't we just start putting the WEI numbers on spec sheets instead? :v:
I mean, I don't understand why we still use clockspeed and cores to measure speed, why don't we just start putting the WEI numbers on spec sheets instead? :v:
Fuck that. Let's just use bogoMIPS.
Fuck that, let's use boot time as a unit for computer speed!
Fuck that, let's use boot time as a unit for computer speed!
that would place old 68k macs faster than most modern PCs Those things booted fucking fast, man.
My NES boots faster than your PCs, therefore it must be more powerful. Logic 1, Computer nerds 0
that would place old 68k macs faster than most modern PCs Those things booted fucking fast, man.
Oh I dont know, my IBM pc can boot into ROM basic pretty quickly. After it counts through all 640k of its conventional memory at ~20k a second...
My calculator turns on pretty fast.
My microwave is faster than your Ivy Bridge rig.
My microwave is faster than your Ivy Bridge rig.
But can it run Frysis?
My rock doesn't even need power and doesn't get hot when it's used. Doesn't do a whole lot of calculations, doesn't even use bits. Just a single value, 1. But if you want to count to 1 it's useful
My clock radio has an uptime longer than the time since Steve Jobs died :hehe:
My clock radio has an uptime longer than the time since Steve Jobs died :hehe:
My clock keeps crashing. I keep knocking it off my desk.
But can it run Frysis?
come on, this was clever
I just got some free half-moon cookies for all the work I've been doing on computers and software for my business teacher. He's the one I sent that email to last night. This guy rocks.
I just stole the computer chair from my brother's room that he never used. Its covered in cat fur but its so much nicer than the one I was using.
Oh, guys, does this sound like a broken motherboard to you: Computer turns on, fans spin, doesn't beep, nothing gets displayed on the screen. I was thinking it might be a broken graphics card so I tried the on-board, and that doesn't work.
But can it run Frysis?
Rude wingless, that was a good joke
Google Drive just became public about 20 minutes about.
Google Drive just became public about 20 minutes about.
about 20 minutes about? nice
Google Drive just became public about 20 minutes about.
Not the service itself, unfortunately. At least, not for me.
