What I really do want (and need) is a Wifi adapter with packet injection capabilities. If any of you has one in a working condition, I am interested.
Seeing as everyone is looking to trade stuff. I'm after an AM3 board that i can unlock and overclock my athlon II x3 435 with, or a board to replace my dead gigabyte GA-P35 DS3R I have a heavily modified 8800GS (flashed to a 9800GT, Vmodded, overclocked and stable) for trade. I have an e6600 if you don't want the 8800GS

Edit: even cheaper! http://www.amazon.com/Netgear-WG111US-Wireless-Usb-Adapter/dp/B0009N544A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1274626844&sr=8-1
I'd prefer bgn. [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] Or agn.
Anyways guys: Thinking about "downgrading" to ivybridge and single GTX680. Watercooled of course. inb4 first world problems. Also, for those that say i5's are better in games, that's wrong. BF3 can take advantage of more threads if you learn to disable core parking. My buddies running 2600's 3820's you name it all shown a significant smoother gameplay and just a bit more FPS. I'll paste the .reg and instructions to do so soon. In the mean time. Should I sell my mobo, 980X, and GPU's just to "downgrade" 3770K, with Maximus V Gene or Formula, some 4x4GB DDR3-1866, or 4x8GB, and single GTX680? I've gotten some decent offers so it's very tempting to do so.
Would just like to point out I don't think anybody has ever said an i5 is better than an i7 in gaming, what people mean is the extra features of an i7 wont be utilized by many games and you end up spending tons more money for practically no benefit over the i5 in games.
Pepper;35750885']HUURDUUR DATA SECKUREYTEY ACT :downs:
Actually, I bet by sending their equipment to e-waste companies, they get a tax break. Maybe not, but its a possibility.
We're back in action... Maybe...
you jinxed it
So GTX690 is out May 3rd and in most places May 7th. Dual GK104's 2x2GB + 2x256bit bus Nvidia, get your shit together, this is bullshit.
Well that's disappointing. [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] Interesting looking card though. [t]http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-04-28/283a.jpg[/t] dat sli bridge [t]http://www.techpowerup.com/img/12-04-28/283c.jpg[/t]
I could see some really nice builds getting made with that look...

it almost looks functional too.
Why are they doing one single fan again, I never liked that design, it seemed weak.
Considering GK104's run with much less power and much less heat, seems perfectly reasonable to me.
-turns out i'm retarded-
For a dual GPU card? LOL
didn't they do that already?

It scares me.
nah, the MX11 looks like a car's butt and this doesn't
So, I'm not reading 16 pages. When is Ivy Bridge coming out onto Newegg for DIY PCs? Like, 3570k and such
So, I'm not reading 16 pages. When is Ivy Bridge coming out onto Newegg for DIY PCs? Like, 3570k and such
hi, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504 change the last digit in the url 1 = 3770K etc

Hi crapt. [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] Man, this is weird. I (finally) get SUA working, Running native linux binaries on Windows is... strange.
Man, I have the itch... really badly. Main factor, to watercool or not to watercool. If the guy goes through with his offer, I should be able to get the 3770K, Mobo, maybe some RAM, and a 7970 DC II, or GTX680 ( I can't be arsed to wait tho )
