I wonder if I did a PC build video like I did my cooking video.
Beautiful macros and the sound of connectors being connected and fans being revved, ending with a satisfying POST beep?
yes please
I can get a Crucial M4 256gb for $180 or the 128gb for $110
decisions decisions
256 is a great deal.
Those harddrives alone are $150. If you actually sell it for that much you are... s..illy.
I have 2 2tb drives and the machine was a footrest. The guy is happy and he said his son can't wait to play video games on it.
It would be a pain in the ass to sell the parts one by one considering their age. I'm just happy I got more than a fourth of the value 5 years later and I got a response in a few hours.
If you're happy with the transaction, I can't say anything else. Looks like it's going to good use. The 8800GT should be good for him.
can nobody here tell me if a XLR to USB cable will work with my AT2020. headphone general discussion thread didn't say if it would work or not, they just told me to buy a mixer and completely ignored my question.
Is it like a adapter? Not. if it's like a Blue Icicle, yes.

Did you not consider a USB AT2020?
What is your budget?

It was about 150, but at the moment i only have about 20 left out of that 150.

What I think i'm going to do is buy the ART Tube MP Preamp and just upgrade to an M-Audio Fast Track when i get the money.
Anyone here remember sparkbrowser? Turns out in my copy of the website the setup.exe was actually a trojan virus according to avast!. :v:

oh wow, really
that's not a win, i doubt that they actually used real names or emails, and it's not that hard to change your IP address (or use a proxy)
The police were right in the paper though, it is a waste of time as there is no reliable way of tracking the people.

So we're gonna do a thing about the history of an OS of our choice
anyone know any with an interesting story behind them? I'm thinking about the DOS being bought from some poor sod or the windows 3.1 interface being stolen from apple kinda things.
Xerox made the GUI that Windows 3.1 was based off, didn't they?
Or am I mixing things up?

If I remember correctly, both Macintosh and Windows were inspired by the Xerox Alto's GUI.
From what I recall (watching Pirates of Sillicon Valley) it went like, Xerox came up with the graphical UI and the mouse, nobody fucking cared, Apple bought it and made the Macintosh, Windows faked wanting to help Apple and stole the graphical UI from them for Windows.

If some little things were changed (Doubleclick = open, click-drag to move, mostly stuff like this) that'd be comparable to modern systems.
And if they ditched the additional hardware keys and used a context menu.
Sorry if this seems pushy Brt, just curious if you had any news on your Dxtory video?
