Moiré interference pattern
It's both aliasing and Moire. Moire is the flicker and shimmer on fine details like cloths, fences, mesh, bricks. Aliasing is the geometry issue on straight angles like walls, cables, etc. And yes, Canon DSLR's resolution sucks ass. [editline]12th June 2012[/editline]
Sorry if this seems pushy Brt, just curious if you had any news on your Dxtory video?
Sorry no. I haven't gotten to it for the past 5-6 days. I went through a huge depression spike for a couple days and when I got any inspiration I made that cooking video. I need drink like two monsters and buckle down because a lot of people still are needing the video. There is plenty of resources online for information on the software. Just check on youtube, loads of tutorials and guides. If you're simply waiting for my highly analyzed take on the software then hang in there. I'm conflicted with getting it done due to updates bringing it out of date, and also taking my time to make it easy to understand and comprehend to also bring it to the top of the charts on youtube as the resource for Dxtory understanding.
Got a new headset because my current broke It's a $7 one that leaks a ton of sound OH WELL
I think I want a modmic, anyone here have one that can give me pros/cons?
I believe it's the best clip-on microphone on the market, but obviously it's not going to surpass the performance of a desk microphone which are more expensive.
Pros: It's the sound quality of a standalone mic, can be swapped between all of your cans, provides a better overall quality when paired with decent headphones than a headset of the same price Cons: You have two wires, it's like $30 You should go to the headphone thread or look up reviews or somethin' but everything points to "a modmic is a must have if you have quality headphones"
The AMD HD7750 is amazingly quiet. Seriously. At stock fan speeds etc. it is fuckquiet, even under load (MC menu for 2+ hours) The temps were also only 50C.
I think I want a modmic, anyone here have one that can give me pros/cons?
I have one, it's great. The wire is lightweight and doesn't get in the way, it's also fairly long. The microphone itself is fairly easy to position and it's pretty easy to install. Can't go wrong with it.
:v:
Prime95 can't even compare to it.
Prime95 can't even compare to it.
Seeing as Prime95 is for CPUs, not GPUs, I'm not surprised.
Can anyone help with this? http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1190115 My computer is starting to be nearly unusable due to this, i'm really close to just formatting but if anyone knows how to fix this without formatting it'll be helpful.
I have a WiFi router now, yay!
Just put it as LOCAL POLICE STATION #69 or something. Best SSID you can have behind "I got 99 problems, but a bit aint one!" and "FBI Surveillance van #1337"
Prime95 can't even compare to it.
All joking aside, at one point the MC menu got my 6950 to higher temps than what I've achieved in Furmark. I think I posted about it a long time ago.
I personally like videogame references. Also, the password is "prettyflyforawifi", if anyone happens to live near me. [editline]12th June 2012[/editline] Updated the firmware, went to the diagnostics page, couldn't resist when I saw this
Setup a Wi-Fi access point with WEP encryption, see how many aircrackers are around

HAHAHAHAHAHA, MY SIDES no
True, but not stupid.

Oh noes, Apple makes the best display ever seen in years. IT'S DUMB Samsung/Dell/HP Does it, you'll fucking praise it. Sorry, but no.
It *is* a nice display. But given everything else about it, particularly the price tag, and I'll pass, for now.
Seeing as Prime95 is for CPUs, not GPUs, I'm not surprised.
Make that furmark then. (Brainfart) [editline]13th June 2012[/editline] I swear my desktop is haunted. This is the 2nd time its powered on completely by itself. I'm certain its not WOL too!
It *is* a nice display. But given everything else about it, particularly the price tag, and I'll pass, for now.
That's the price tag FOR NOW. It's Apple, they'll release it as a premier product and put it on their top-of-the-line version and then move it to the lower end models soon. Watch.
Apple displays tend to be somewhat pricey regardless. Must be the design. In fact it probably is the design.
I'm definitely getting the new 15 inch for college though.
I might end up getting an 11" MacBook Air.
I might end up getting an 11" MacBook Air.
completely unrelated whatever happened with those monitors?
Hope it stops manufacturer laziness of putting 1366x768 panels in laptops.
completely unrelated whatever happened with those monitors?
Never found an opertunity. Whenever I do decide to catalog them, I get pelted in the face with another job. I'll try my best to get it done tomorrow, don't think we have anybody coming in.
