keyboard nipples are the worst. I don't see how anyone uses them
keyboard nipples are the worst. I don't see how anyone uses them
But they don't spaz out or randomly double click like shit trackpads do.
They're great if you can get used to them. Apple still has the best trackpads though I just end up using a mouse anyway
Mine's the K53TA-BBR6 Basically the best budget gaming laptop ever, and they weren't kidding. It runs everything
X53BY-SX152D Cheaper version and stuff I guess. But pretty much the same. I kind of hate the touchpad on it. For scrolling you have to use 2 fingers and I don't really know other gestures you have to do on it.

The multitouch gestures work reasonably well on my Acer, but its mostly hampered by a tiny trackpad. I prefer just to map the D-pad below to whatever functions I want.
having actual physical buttons under your trackpad master race if only i could disable tap to click
having actual physical buttons under your trackpad master race if only i could disable tap to click
I have physical buttons as well, they just decided redundancy is key Also my pinch to zoom is really touchy
I think this is why I want a Thinkpad, I'd be more happy with a trackpoint IMO. I'm currently part of the 6 year old Acer shitbox masterrace, so anything is an improvement. [t]http://puu.sh/AWht[/t]
Is the contrast really that horrible or am I just seeing stuff? :v:
Is the contrast really that horrible or am I just seeing stuff? :v:
The contrast isn't great, and its part of the boot screen, it has a light pointing down.

A completely black image looks like there's a mysterious fog in the middle of everything: [editline]14th June 2012[/editline] yes this is a completely black image

IdeaPad Z575. Its really nice for the $450 it cost. Its well built and can do decent for gaming at native resolution. Diablo 3 at native resolution on medium and never drops below 30 fps. AMD's APUs just work well for laptops.

I had this problem once too.
Best laptop I have ever owned.
Best laptop I have ever owned.
I want one.
yeah I want a coke too
I just want a coke zero.
Original is the best. Zero and light suck.

I should be making roughly $150-170 a week mowing lawns this summer (Two lawyers from my dad's firm with huge, sloping lots and my mother's lawn), so I might have enough for one of those new Asus Zenbooks that came out recently. Either that, or it's going toward a car.
Original is the best. Zero and light suck.
I have a litre of Coca-Cola in a bag hidden in my closet so nobody else would drink it. Also, did you have that version of Light with sucralose as the sweetener? It was quite excellent, but then for some reason they decided to bring back aspartam and ruin fucking everything. Apparently people didn't like it that light actually tasted pretty good. I'm going to look around computer repair shops within biking distance and see if any of them need a guy with one year of formal training (and a passion for computers) to fill a slot on some mornings and saturday, maybe then I'll get some income and be able to afford a 550 Ti.
Original is the best. Zero and light suck.
You never had Zero then, it literally tastes like original. Plus Mexican Coke is be the best Coke.
>synaptics well there's yer problem right there, didn't synaptics make touchpad drivers so shitty people started making their own drivers from scratch or something like that
After ditching the synaptics drivers (and windows) on my laptop the trackpad improved 10 fold.
Mine is Elantech. Still shitty. Nothing will beat a real mouse
That's a mouse, not a touchpad bro.
gentlemen, prepare your reading glasses
I wonder how Linux does on it
