we need a mod period
I volunteer. Seriously. I've moderated forums before (not these ones but whatever), I know my shit. but I won't object if wingless gets it
PM screenshots incoming
Go. Please. Your points are shit and all your going to do is dig yourself in a deeper hole. I can tell you right now that NOBODY here will listen to you and probably will just yell at you. Leave while you can. [editline]15th June 2012[/editline] Or if your willing to be a mature whatever and apologize I'll take that too. Or you could be a dumbass and rate me dumb go right ahead. It only ruins your argument .

That would be kinda cool to have thread moderators. Like the OP can chose who is the moderator of the thread.
Does anyone here actually agree with the idea that you are never allowed recommend a windows PC if someone prefers a mac? Its essentially the exact same thing as saying that if someone preferred a pc with windows as their last computer its against the rules to recommend them a mac for whatever reason. Hell, is recomending linux for certain things the same? The entire argument is basically him trying to prove that macs are superior on every count and in every aspect, even price. If people yell at me thats their own prerogative, it will make them look like a moron to those who can read. There's no apologies even needed here though, though i feel insulted i'd be asked to apologize for saying the same stuff i used to say and be agreed with when this thread used to be good back in the days of old, before general chat took it over.
that would cause hell in threads with this where there can be different OPs when the thread's auto-closed
Have you ever had Italian Coke?
The Italian Coke from World of Coca-Cola tasted like medicine at best.
that would cause hell in threads with this where there can be different OPs when the thread's auto-closed
A regular moderator would have the ability to override the OP's decisions. So in case we get another Linux who ignores what we all agreed on for an OP and posts some crock of shit, we could get someone to put up whoever we agreed to have mod.
A computer is a computer. People have different preferences. Stop being a cunt and shut the fuck up if someone has a different opinion on which to use. It doesn't fucking effect you at all. You're not going to die because I chose a Mac Mini over my gaming rig. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. /endofdiscussion

Thats what this is about, not telling people what they are allowed to buy or giving a shit about what people use. Understand whats going on first before making shitposts.
can everyone just shut up now? this is getting beyond stupid

I prefer them over a Windows machine." or anything similar AND STILL RECOMMENDED A WINDOWS MACHINE, then you're dumb. Protocol 7 is right. You're wrong. Stop rating spamming on Makol and all of CIPWTTKT&GC with your two accounts. Just leave.
Mattk is on a dumb rating spree, pretty childish and pointless

Mattk50 has 2 accounts?
Can we all just agree on that Protocol doesn't always convey his opinon in a proper manner, and that matt should calm down about now?
Mattk50 has 2 accounts?
I assumed you and he were the same since the second he would dumb a post, you would too.
I have a question about macbooks. I know a couple of you have owned one/still own one, and since I'm considering getting the new 15 inch; do they really run as hot as they're rumored to?
I have a question about macbooks. They also seem to be able to manage fine with high temperatures.
This Mac vs PC is almost if not the same like Nvidia vs AMD, people would still for example say the nvidia card is better even if the cards were almost identical same goes for the AMD fanboy and that goes on and on. Overall you buy what you want , even if it is more expensive etc.
Can we all just agree on that Protocol doesn't always convey his opinon in a proper manner, and that matt should calm down about now?
Ill stop posting on this subject, its getting tiresome i agree. Though you guys are hilarious whining about ratings and accusing randoms of being other accounts of mine just because your butthurt that im right. I didn't see me whining about boxes despite you guys doing the same thing.
My monitor is ghosting like a motherfucker. Fuck VGA.

But my dad has the last gen 15" and he edits videos and photos on them all day for about 10 hours of the day and he has never complained about heat and when I ask him about heat issues he says it's fine. But he does use a little app called SMC fan control that for temp monitoring and adjusting fan speeds. Also the newer models should be cooler since they now use two fans versus only one.
Okay, that's great. temperatures are something of concern with laptops. Thanks guys.
On the plus side, the case won't melt like what happened with my Gateway laptop since it's aluminium. :v:
It's funny cause it's from Gateway..
It was 2007 and I knew nothing about computers. I wanted something to run WoW and it did that fine.

I went into the Rogers store to see what I could get with my brother's upgrade, since he didn't have a data plan. I wanted something as a backup phone that wouldn't be too awful, though I didn't have much choice. Walked out of the store with a Samsung Galaxy Q, which has Android 2.2 (They still make phones with that OS?), [del]1 GHz[/del] 800 MHz CPU, 320x480 screen, slide-out keyboard and a 3.2MP fixed-focus camera. It's decent for $60, though my Nexus S kick's its ass. My mom was using a LG Xenon with a horrible resistive touch screen, so I gave it to her for $30 under the condition that if my Nexus S breaks, I'll take it back until I get a new one. She definitely enjoys the non-shitty touch screen, though isn't used to how responsive it is. Watching her browsing The Globe and Mail was funny, her finger would keep brushing the screen and loading another page. She's addicted to Angry Birds on her laptop, so I'm sure she'll like it on the phone. Though I need to find her some good time wasters that are cheap/free and don't require a lot of precision, like Drop 7.

Every time I hear someone mention a LG Xenon the word "shitty" comes somewhere right before or after it And ain't it the truth... I hate this thing and so does my mom, I really want my Aria back
