You mean one of the most unstable and buggy piece of software from Valve? Not hard.
I never had steam crash or freeze (excluding netbooks) in 6 (or so) years
I never had steam crash or freeze (excluding netbooks) in 6 (or so) years
I get it daily, and I'm not the only person to. Most of my friends list has similar problems.
You're doing it wrong then!
You're doing it wrong then!
Because known and common faults with the program means I'm doing it wrong.
steam will occasionally hang up if I'm updating every game I own and open 20 chat windows and frantically click around in the inventory lists
Steam always hangs when I close a game that requires more than a gig of ram Oh wait, that's my entire PC :v:
we need the song of the sipwicketarians.
Didn't we already have this one
Didn't we already have this one
Stallman's already claimed that one.
I believe Q3-Q4 2012.
I don't see why they take so long, the 7850 is a better performer at pretty much the same price as the GTX 560 Ti. The only place it loses out is acoustics, and it's so much cooler that you could just take the fan down a notch.
I really wish Microsoft wasn't so proud and stubborn. The unfortunate truth is even if there was/is a massive backlash for Metro in Windows 8, they're not going to change it. It's the future of Windows, unfortunately. Microsoft isn't giving up on IE because they're just too damned proud.
IE10 in Windows 8 (also called the-not-really-done-version) is pretty darn fast, and from the few benchmarks I've run, it comes out on top over Google Chrome.
Has anyone tried the Lumia 900?
Has anyone tried the Lumia 900?
I've tried it, I don't own it. It seems like a fine phone, and there's not much more to say. The design is very nice, but other than that - it's WP7. Taht means that it simply tucks away a reliable speed, and it's fairly non-bullshit. Isn't as fast as the HTC One X, SGS III or One S, but it's fast in it's own way.

Am I the only one here who has trouble finding / doesn't have a job?
An existing codebase helps.
Quite the opposite for me, I sit like a retard when I have to understand someone elses code.
Am I the only one here who has trouble finding / doesn't have a job?
Never had a job in my life, then again I'm not looking either.
Never had a job in my life, then again I'm not looking either.
What do you plan on doing when you need income, a place of residence, and a form of transportation?
What do you plan on doing when you need income, a place of residence, and a form of transportation?
Get a job. Why do you ask?
Am I the only one here who has trouble finding / doesn't have a job?
Nope, still looking for full time work over the summer.
Dreamweaver was ok enough to get a feel of how websites work on a basic level, but dear god why do you have to fight with all of its tools to get anything to work? It felt like I hacked and cheated my way to a working website every time. We learned how to make tile-based websites, and we also learned more "advanced" things such as "frames", which I noticed no websites use today. When I spoke to people that actually can do web design, they would only laugh when I mentioned frames :v: I always made the best websites in my class and they were way above what we've actually learned, but sadly that doesn't say much. Here's my latest website It's slow and it's kind of meh when it comes to design. This is a lot more than we ever learned to do this year, but I'm not expecting to impress any of you :p Also, I'm no graphic designer I just put it there for the sake of having something there :v:
Nope, still looking for full time work over the summer.
Full time is hard to find this late in the summer and not many places have full time positions for only the summer. Just get a part time position at a nice place. I just went to my local mall, went to every store and kind of took in the environment to see if I wanted to work there. Then I took my picks looked up their benefits and average pay online and decided on Timberland, which is actually where my cousin had worked for a few years before so a recommendation and getting hired was easy. I work around 24 to 30 hours a week getting a good 25% more than other "sales associates" at the mall with added benefits like holidays, vacations, and the best of all a respectful managing staff. I could work somewhere better with my almost straight A's, high Sat scores, and past employment, but I need a solid ground and I want an easy relaxed job right now that I don't have to worry about outside of work. I always seem to have horrible and drawn out answers but basically take what you can get at the moment and keep with it. A job you enjoy and have is a lot better better than looking for a "perfect job."
Full time is usually an internship and usually not paid, so getting part-time retail is your best bet.
I work at a local children's play place called Bounce U. I get a bit above minimum wage, but the hours are really generous and it's also pretty fun. I get most of my money from lawn mowing anyway.
I'm off for an open day at Aldi in a few days. 20 to 40 hours, not bad.
I got work in a cinema some 2 weeks ago, for my age it's fairly good pay (I'm in Denmark, though i'm sure most of you were aware of that) - ~$16/hour. I have few hours a week, so it's not intrusive in any way. I'm probably gonna earn ~$700 a month on it, which is pretty swell.

On my last website i had to give up the slight issue that ANY other zoom or screensize that showed the website then my laptop would have all the stuff misplaced. I decided to give up on it 11.50 before deadline :v: Web design isn't my thing, I was chooses as the webdev in this project since i knew what the H1 tags does We got around the problem of zooming by telling the teacher we could not upload it to dropbox due to some error and showed it on my laptop in the end. I can probably find the site on dropbox if you want a laugh / cry
