Windows actually works headless?
I thought the cmdline was useless.

Apparently Server 2008 R2 has Headless Mode. No idea if it actually works
Either way it's way overkill for a fileserver
My boss expects me to try and get a better deal with makol just because people are expected to do that where I live.
Should make this into a T-shirt.

I deleted mine in 2007 and didn't reactivate until 2009. Longer than 2 weeks

There is a full deletion process you can go through, not a half arsed deactivation.
Guys, seriously, I found the best thing in the world.
Open some nice porn. Mute the sound.
Now open teletubbies and put it on the background.
You will die from laughing.
Oh god. A customer has a laptop with about 100gbs of music, pictures, etc. who wants ALL of his stuff backed up to his 4gb flash drive...
A simple guide to posting in CIPWTTKT&GC, by horsedrowner.
1. Does the content you want to post show computer illiteracy?
2. Is the content you want to post related to the topic at hand?
3. Do you want to start a new discussion, and is that discussion in some way related to Hardware & Software?
If you answered "yes" to one or more of the above questions, then go ahead and post.
If you answered "no" to all of the above questions, or if the content you want to post is against the rules, don't post.
So, today I've been working on one thing. Recording from the PS Vita.
Since Sony still hasn't made a cable for actually outputting its video into a television (Or capture card), I had to use a camera.
Now, off-screen recordings tend to be pretty shit. I don't want it to be shit, so I decided to not make it shit:

This was recorded using my Canon EOS 600D
Now, to make it perfect I could mount the PS Vita to the surface, and thus eliminate the shake from my hands.

Do you guys know any ways to make FireFox more stable? 2 days ago, Forefox crashed twice, within an hour of each crash

For an off-screen recording, that looks pretty good. Except the shaking, but you pointed that out yourself too. I take it you recorded the sound using the headphone jack or something?

Switch to Chrome/Opera/some other browser then?

Yes, the sound was recorded via the headphone jack.
Also, you should know that the HUD also shakes by itself according to what your ship is doing :v:
I didn't notice the shake because the shit on screen was already shaking.

Just as I had hoped :)

You could still rather easily make a mount though. Just use the thing on the back for the flip-up lid and sick the camera on it.
Unless the removed the bit for the flip up lid but I don't think that they would have.

While we're on the topic of PSPs, is there CFW for the Vita yet? I'm still using a PSP 3000 with 5.03 CFW.
Getting paid $300 to do someone's computer programming (Java) assignment, which is due on monday. One of the ideas on the assignment page was a trivia game with 10-20 questions, this is going to be easy.
I got a nice little project for me this summer
I'm going to get a Shuttle spacewalker case which is flexATX and convert it to mini ITX, then put an AMD APU + HD6670 PC inside.
It will be my new LAN rig.
Should i post pictures of the progress?
Here is the case
[t]http://www.shuttle.eu/_archive/older/en/prod/xpc/600/ss50.jpg[/t]
That front plate is made of a 6MM thick aluminium plate.
Current progress:
Front holes drilled through
Fan grill at the back chopped out
I've just got to dremel off the original motherboard standoffs and put some new ones in, chop a load of metal out of the back so i can fit an ATX IO shield in, cut a hole in the side so the GPU has some breathing room, mount proper grills to the fan holes, order a new flexATX PSU as the current one is shit (a measly 150 watts) and order the CPU, RAM and board.
Should i try and mount a handle to the top too?
I'm using the latest version that;s not beta (13.0.1) and I;ve been using Chrome previously. Shroom convinced me to go to FireFox after he told me about the faster start-up and more responsive.
I don't see it.

Ask buttsex, Chrome is great!

Awesome project. A handle would be easy, just go down to the hardware store and pick up a handle, mark the holes, drill them out, mount with nuts and bolts. Depending on heavy the machine is and how durable the top casing is, you may have to re-enforce it with a piece of sheet metal or something.

Apart from the front, the whole case is at least 1MM thick aluminium. I don't think the PC will be too heavy though.
The case is light as fuck without the front plate too
I think I'm going to go back to Chrome
I miss all of my apps
Super Mario Bros was pissing me off earlier.
I almost deleted the save.
