Well this is disappointing. I'm buying Indie game the movie for Killowatt and then me.
I bought it for Killowatt and go back to get it for myself but now I'm 20 cents off buying it for myself because the exchange rates dropped from 1 AUD = 1.02 USD to 1 AUD = .97 USD in 2 days.
Overclock a monitor?
reveal your secrets
I don't recall exactly how it is, it's either a hardware mod or flashing the monitor's firmware with a custom one. One of the reasons that particular monitor is so darn expensive is because it has a rather powerful processor inside for splitting up and combining all the DVI links.

No, the T221 isn't expensive because of the most unique panel ever made, no it's not expensive because of it's rarity, no, none of that. It's because of the DVI link mechanism. Makes sense.
You guys seem like you might know.
I'm looking for a decent desktop/standalone mic that will last me a long time, I currently own a Logitech one but it's got issues with Windows 7 so the input is so quiet.
~$100 budget, but I'll go up to $200 if I have to.
I also live in Australia.

I absolutely hate people like this OP, where he asks for advise and then ignores all of them in the end:

His reason for buying a terrible Bulldozer was basically "i bought it because i want to use something that's not intel for once herp derp", despite the fact that everyone was telling him how terrible it was.
Well, Cisco's going insane.
New Cisco firmware locks you out until you grant Cisco rights to data mine your internet traffic. There's no opt-out, and rollback can only be done by Cisco techs, who remote in to your home using a new backdoor the update installs on your hardware. Welcome to the "Cisco Connect Cloud."
It's on every home model that still get firmware updates now.
Welp, there's another brand I'm not buying from
Welp, there's another brand I'm not buying from
They still make some of the best service routers in the world, just don't get their home products.
Kinda like how Dell consumer laptops are terrible?
Kinda like how Dell consumer laptops are terrible?
Yeah, that's a good comparison.

Well, Cisco home routers are good, except this... bullshit.
So if I want to SLI/Crossfire, x8 PCIe 3 slots are fine? Why not make x16 slots for both on mainboards?
So if I want to SLI/Crossfire, x8 PCIe 3 slots are fine? Why not make x16 slots for both on mainboards?
Because that specific chipset cannot provide suffice bandwidth, it's not like they purposely limited it.
But I've seen mainboards that claim sli/crossfire compatiblity but only have x8 and x4 when running two cards.

I'm on a Dell Studio XPS 16 right now and I haven't really had any trouble with it at all?

Dear Reynholm Industries investors, clients, and shareholders,
Attached is a chart of our earnings for the last fiscal year.
As you can see there is a massive increase in the middle.
Yours Sincerely,

And before writing that, I tried 3 times to close that window before realizing it was an image
My laptop gave a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR stop error when a colleague was showing me something on his iPad. No doubt the iPad gave off some kind of radiation that caused my RAM to spontanenously fail.
Also, please not let's start another "Post your harddisk usage" or "Post the size of your downloads folder" or any other "Post your" for that matter.
Definitely buying myself a Google IO ticket next year.
Well that was fucking fun. I've been TRYING to get Mono on a CentOS box, but Red Hat in their infinite wisdom a while ago stopped supporting mono on their repos so I had to build it from source, this wouldn't be a problem, wouldn't take long so I downloaded it and llvm and started compiling. LLVM compiled fine, not a hiccup, then I went to mono and it fucked up on LLVM stuff, so I tried again, same problem. Ditched LLVM.
Then I started to build, and the fucking source I was building from had the wrong version of monolite so it refused to build, so I used the "make get-latest-monolite" command to download the latest version, but oh, their main fucking buildserver is down so I can't connect to it, so I went to their monkeywrench site to find the latest builds and spent about 20 minutes on there finding the right version, and now FINALLY it's fucking working.
2 hours to install fucking mono when it should take 10 goddamn minutes.

I hope they ship to Canada, I would check the shipping though they want me to login to my Google account for checkout, but I don't want to buy it yet.
