I have an HD7950 and i have this stockcooler which is just a heatsinkblock with a small fan on it, does anyone know of any good gpu coolers for the HD7950? I have seen the Zalman VF3000A but i dont know if it fits on the gpu.

[editline]30th June 2012[/editline]
Get the 3570k, it's like $20 more expensive and the performance increase is worth it.
Yup. Although the 3570K does run hotter than the 2500K when overclocked past around 4.2ghz, the efficiency that the Ivybridge cores pared with a good Z77 mobo ( Asus, ONLY, NOTHING ELSE ) will rip anything apart. Hell, I was willing to trade my 980X for a Z77 setup with a 3570K ;p [editline]30th June 2012[/editline]
Those were the 4xx series cards. 470 and 480 specifically.
I had 2 480's. They weren't actually that bad, ran for about 5 days testing stability before I slapped on the waterblocks. My cards clocked like shit though, 875core max in SLI. My 580's in comparison? Runs with less voltage, runs cooler, and does 950 in SLI. 1005mhz on single card.
What's wrong with the stock cooler?
Other than that it sound like an airplane takes off nothing. The GPU is the only thing that is loud in my pc, the corsair psu fan almost never turns on and my cpu is cooled by my noctua D14 and then i have 2 NF-P14 FLX and 2 NF-F12 PWM fans. Actually the gpu is the hottest thing in my PC :v:
Well, the motherboard fried and I have a 7770 just laying around. On Sunday, i'm going to a show with my dad for a new one.
If your brother says to go what he picks, tell him to get fucked.
Not a show, a store, you silly phone
Did you tell your brother that he is a retard yet?
Did you tell your brother that he is a retard yet?
well he got caught by his parents (who he still lives with...) so i think he's in deep shit already...
Well, the cars want the only thing he bought. They cheap fucker got me a 450W psu. Didn't even have the 2x3 cable I needed for my card.
Well, the cars want the only thing he bought. They cheap fucker got me a 450W psu. Didn't even have the 2x3 cable I needed for my card.
i think you need to go slower when you use swype dude
So does anyone know of any gpu coolers for the HD7900 series?
Well, the cars want the only thing he bought. They cheap fucker got me a 450W psu. Didn't even have the 2x3 cable I needed for my card.
But atleast the 7750 doesn't need an extra power connector. It only takes like what, 45W of power?
But atleast the 7750 doesn't need an extra power connector. It only takes like what, 45W of power?
Also with the new drivers of 12.7 the 7700 series got a huge performance boost especially in skyrim about 55% boost.
Card.
So what is happening to sheep's brother then?
Lethal injection.
He is going to get deported to Taiwan just before Gman inflicts his wrath on the whole continent.
slightly off topic, does anyone here have problems with HDNL for deliveries It took them 5 fucking attempts before they finally decided that they could walk up a driveway to deliver my psu which I had been waiting on for ages.
Card.
You're like Horse_ebooks at times :v:
So who's the dumbass at Microsoft who decided the music app shouldn't support folders?
So who's the dumbass at Microsoft who decided the music app shouldn't support folders?
I'm assuming you're talking about WP7? if so, probably the same dumbass that came up with the idea of the whole OS in the first place
I'm assuming you're talking about WP7? if so, probably the same dumbass that came up with the idea of the whole OS in the first place
I'm talking about Windows 8, but similar shit. [editline]30th June 2012[/editline] wait wait wait no it's not just "i don't support folders" otherwise I'd still have some shit in there what the hell is going on here
So who's the dumbass at Microsoft who decided the music app shouldn't support folders?
Are you saying everything has to be in the same directory or something
I would rather pluck out all of his hair, then out through a grinder very slowly while a monkey wrench is bring shoved up his ass.
I prefer MSI, works just as well, but cheaper, and I like the color scheme more.
I love my P8Z77-V Pro, it's sexy. [t]http://content.hwigroup.net/images/products/xl/146965/asus_p8z77v_pro.jpg[/t] Looks and feels much better when you hold it in your own hands, though. Another reason why I love it is because it has a Wi-Fi adapter (there's a slot for it above the USB ports). My GPU takes the space of almost three slots and covers one of the PCI slots. The other slot was already in use by my soundcard so I didn't have space for my PCI Wi-Fi adapter. Luckily this motherboard came with its own Wi-Fi adapter (basically the reason why I bought it).
