When was this? Was it in here or a separate thread? Anyone got a link or something?
Read the past 3 or so pages. [editline]1st July 2012[/editline] http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1194149&p=36569645&viewfull=1#post36569645 Content writes itself sometimes. Not only a sad attempt at 'trolling,' but also wrong advice.

One thing I will say though, DE:HR is relatively old now by game standards, most people have played it or seen it played so there's no real interest in watching it again, it's also quite a slow paced game and not a lot of action so most of it is watching quiet sneaking around and cutscenes. What about indie games like Tiny and Big? I was going to suggest Amnesia but you've already done that, maybe the sequel as a let's play when it comes out, I don't particularly want to watch someone play Amnesia for 6 hours personally.
Oh god I still see people believing the gorilla warfare copy-paste text. And I can see serious replies to it.

Pacing, not just if it's a good game or not. I do have a bunch of indie games that I've been preplaying to see how well I can riff off them

I can see there being a problem with transfer rates, though.

Just ordered myself a 560ti, should be excellent considering I only play at 1280x1024

I have been really busy with stuff lately and after one too many delays I have managed to ship my 6870s to ManningQB18 and TonyTheBean. Sadly I'm retarded and left the UPS papers and tracking codes at work and I won't be able to get them until tomorrow :/ ANYWAY, here are the cards in all their glory. (they came with no stickers on them)

It's a great idea, but I have my doubts on pricing. Unless it's affordable it will probably flop, as not only do you need the enclosure but you also need a GPU, and the max you can put in there is a 7750, so it's not going to be mindbendingly fast. Certainly it will be useful for anyone who has a Windows machine with TB, or runs their Mac under Windows, but it won't be useful if gaming laptop manufacturers start putting out TB equipped machines, as a most 'true' gaming laptops have more graphics power than that.
Just ordered myself a 560ti, should be excellent considering I only play at 1280x1024
Since I've been working with only widescreen screens for a long time now, everything not widescreen looks so weird and wrong to me now. The iPad looks dated to me, too :v:
Probably not the first to come to this conclusion. I'm very conflicted with the Windows 8 preview after giving it a try for a bit. On the one hand it has some neat little features, the performance is great and the whole metro screen is a cool idea. But. I can't live without a standard start menu. It just feels so clunky to use with a mouse and keyboard. I don't want a touchscreen in my office... The fact the removable device pane says "Tap" rather than "Click" is a little disconcerting. They seem to be forcing the "tablet" way of doing things on desktop users without the correct input devices for it. It's too much too fast. I do have a tablet and I could see it working very well on that. I think I'll have to miss this one out unless there's some changes before the full on retail release. I do understand it's not a complete product, I'm not giving up on it just yet.
I agree with you, as much as Microsoft says they're making them equal, touch is the obvious favorite. Luckily, Leap Motion comes out right around the end of the year, so that will make it much better for desktop use if you want to get it.

So guys, if I could get Just Cause 2 for ~6 euros retail, should I buy it retail or from steam? The retail version has Steamworks.
Uhm why the fuck ask us? You just pointed out yourself that there's no difference, so get it wherever you want and buy DLC on Steam if you want it.
So guys, if I could get Just Cause 2 for ~6 euros retail, should I buy it retail or from steam? The retail version has Steamworks.
Retail. It will unlock on Steam, so you get all the benefits, as well as a hard copy, for less moneycost.
