And the touch sensitivity. You don't necessarily want the touch sensitivity.
You know that only takes effect if you turn it on I have the button that turns it on changed to zooming in Sai
One thing I don't get is why Wacom didn't make both ends of my nibs be usable, as is I have 4 tips when I could have 8 :c
Another thing, I abuse the fuck out of my pen, yet no part of it has been replaced or needs it. /knock on wood ... Well the eraser end is a little loose but I don't use it. Why does my stuff rarely ever break?

Why is Windows Explorer so dumb sometimes? I'm trying to copy over some files, but of course, it takes forever. I get tired of this and try to cancel it, which-surprise!-also takes forever. Now I'm typing this with a start menu in front of everything that won't go away, and even ending the explorer process (process refuses to end) isn't fixing it. Seriously, look at this: [t]https://images.devs-on.net/Image/WW3PT3FSCzOh06aR-CIPWTTKTGCv0x13.png[/t]
even ending the explorer process (process refuses to end) isn't fixing it.
Zombie explorer.exe? Wow, damn.
Where I live I didn't even know it happened. But apparently someone was outside during it and a tree fell right on him and killed him.
Parents were visiting my Uncle and Grandparents in Chicago, 1 Tree dented my mom's car and a 70 year old tree fell from the neighbors yard and took out the fence. Other news, Just installed my first SSD Drive to use as a Boot... this thing is fast!!
Zombie explorer.exe? Wow, damn.
Removing my flash drive fixed it and caused about a million explorer windows to pop up. I think demons might live in my USB ports.
And the touch sensitivity. You don't necessarily want the touch sensitivity.
touch sensitivity disables when it detects the pen nearby, and it ignores the flat side of your hand pretty well if you're resting. You can use the whole thing as a track pad, do pinch motions, gestures, even go as far as setting particular commands to various amounts of fingers and movement. Resting all five fingers on the pad (which I naturally do) even performs a file save by default If you're on the cheap, I do know of some really cheap-ass tablets from brands I wouldn't trust at all, the smallest being a 3x5" surface with a big battery-filled pen, costs eight whole dollars
Probably not the first to come to this conclusion. I'm very conflicted with the Windows 8 preview after giving it a try for a bit. On the one hand it has some neat little features, the performance is great and the whole metro screen is a cool idea. But. I can't live without a standard start menu. It just feels so clunky to use with a mouse and keyboard. I don't want a touchscreen in my office... The fact the removable device pane says "Tap" rather than "Click" is a little disconcerting. They seem to be forcing the "tablet" way of doing things on desktop users without the correct input devices for it. It's too much too fast. I do have a tablet and I could see it working very well on that. I think I'll have to miss this one out unless there's some changes before the full on retail release. I do understand it's not a complete product, I'm not giving up on it just yet.
I use my gaming rig entirely with my TV, so the Metro interface and oversized text may actually be beneficial to me... not that I condone what Microsoft is doing at all, but it'd be nice if it were just an option.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them? It's a shitty photo but you can see the plastic reinforcer of the SATA port broke right off. Didn't even fight it Luckily it's just a hotswappable hard drive caddy thing, so the HDD itself is fine, but still
Pepper;36582675']Guys, you'd never guess how i found out that spain won the UEFA (some football shit for europe) final. Football fans screaming and hollering in joy, air horns, car horns, chants of "espana", you name it. It made for an awesome atmosphere, even if my hearing is probably destroyed. [editline]1st July 2012[/editline] Spain completely annihilated italy with 4 to 0 respectively
Sports? In this socially awkward nerdy forum? [editline]2nd July 2012[/editline] Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
We got the mobo (had to buy 4 gigs ddr3 ram cuz their only model had ddr3 :v:) and now when installing XP from CD, it bluescreens. woo
As a side, RAW files are fucking awesome. Here's what the photo looks like at the exposure the camera decided was best at the time. The JPEG my camera took also looks like this. If you drag over the exposure slider all the way to the right, you get a ton of detail that wasn't in the JPEG.

What do you guys recommend? SGS2 because of its massive dev community.

Cheaper, excellent support for the handset, great screen, excellent camera, runs every app you throw at it, decent battery (For what it is), just an all around good phone and, imo, better value than the Xperia.
Just saw a serverroom. The door to it was in the bathroom. The server was running on a Pentium 3.

I have the Lumia 800 and I absolutely love it. I'm not the kind of guy that needs an app for everything, nor do I need to be in complete control over everything. It lasts about 4 days with Gmail on PUSH and ocassional searching/browsing. Social integration is also done really well, even though I don't use Facebook that often. The only third-party apps I actually use are the Battle.net authenticator, and Adobe Reader. However, if you absolutely need full control over everything or if you need an app for everything, or if Windows Phone simply isn't really your kind of thing, you'd probably be better off with an Android.
Got into the university (of applied sciences) that I applied for, got the letter today. The place is pretty highly regarded in academia, as far as I know, so I probably won't be experiencing too much computer illiteracy, so I won't be having any real content. Damn.

Better camera, larger, better screen, faster browsing and gaming performance. If you aren't really planning on playing games and such, I'd say the Lumia 800 for the very predictable performance. Also, I discovered that the area just around my HTC Radar's camera module is magnetic - anyone who can explain why?
I need a new laptop. Small (screen-size like 13" or smaller, fuck carrying a 15.6" around), 4GB of RAM, battery life up the ass. Any suggestions? Thinkpad L420 looks nice, but it's damn expensive since it's their business-line.

ThinkPad T61 14.1" if you don't mind the lower performance, can be upgraded up to 4GB. Very cheap and robust.
3550 is 15.6, which is why I didn't say anything.
Fuck forgot about that. But it's so nice!
Fuck forgot about that. But it's so nice!
Surprisingly light for the size, but I think it's the physical size that would be the problem.
