Grr! Don't you hate it when something goes wrong with your computer and you haven't a clue why?
Grr! That shit's weird, it's always how it goes down with me. [editline]8th July 2012[/editline] By that, I mean, 100% of the problems I get with Apache and Sendmail.
SSD: Currently the Samsung 830 series, unless the Intel 520 series is on sale. Alternatively, the Crucial M4, but it does a bit worse in benchmarks. They're generally very close on price PSU: Yep, pretty shitty
AnandTech seems to really like the Plextor M3 and M3 Pro, and the M3, at least, is cheaper than the Intel 520 and Samsung 830.
Grr! Don't you hate it when something goes wrong with your computer and you haven't a clue why?
Like when something decided to call ThumbnailExtractionHost.exe and ramp it up to 100% CPU usage without it even doing anything? Yeah I had that one. Then I deleted the ThumbnailWhatsit. Windows hasn't imploded, no errors have come up, nothing adverse has happened, I'd say it was a good move.
or the fact that i cant do any 3d gaming without crashing occasionally fails to post, bsods as well
I'm waiting for my monitor to fix itself again cause I can't use my computer until it does :\
Are there anymore games like Sniper Elite V2 that support Native 3D as in Quad Buffering, Sniper Elite V2 has AMD HD3D.
I'm a genius! Managed to fix my problem..ahh
AnandTech seems to really like the Plextor M3 and M3 Pro, and the M3, at least, is cheaper than the Intel 520 and Samsung 830.
Seems pretty good. It came out pretty recently, so it didn't show up on the Samsung and Crucial SSD benchmarks, so I didn't see it existed. I'd say that's the best bet for SSD performance as long as it's cheaper.
I've been thinking about adding a SSD into my Mac Mini. It's already a quick little machine but I feel like that would just help a shit ton.

Spending hours upon hours to find a solution and fix it, that's not only gratifying but also useful since you know what to do the next time it happens. If it miraculously fixes itself? God help you the next time.
I'm currently running a gtx 460, looking to upgrade. Is the 6950 a decent upgrade for 185 euros?
I wouldn't say the difference is big enough - the GTX 460 is still a pretty nice card. I'd wait for the GTX 660 (and it seems like AMD might put something out not long after that) or something along those lines.
Apparently it's gonna cost around 300 bucks and I'm not sure if I want to fork out 300 euros for the thing.
euros =/= USD
Pepper;36667908']euros =/= USD
Sadly it kinda tends to be that way.
Apparently it's gonna cost around 300 bucks and I'm not sure if I want to fork out 300 euros for the thing.
I kinda doubt that price. It's a mid-range card, and Nvidia's managed to keep their mid-range cards in the <200$ spectrum. What's the point of a mid-range card if it costs that much?
http://puu.sh/GHL8 I finally did it. Negative 2% fragmentation.
How does it fragment -2%.
it's so defragmented that stuff that should be in fragments isn't
I thought that too, until I listened to a pair of $20 Sennheisers
I have the CX475s, got them on the newegg sale for $20, usually $50. They kick ass.
I have the CX475s, got them on the newegg sale for $20, usually $50. They kick ass.
I have a pair of CX485s, some of the best earbuds I've ever owned. Lasted many drops, smashes and Lord knows what and they still sound great. Granted I paid full price for them a long time ago (was like $80) but certainly worth the money considering how long they've lasted.
god dammit there are so many games i am just banging my head on walls waiting for right now guild wars 2, torchlight 2... are the only ones i can remember right now. anyway, on another note, i wish there was a way to limit steam downloads because whenever i buy a game on steam and download it everyone else's internet slows to a halt
I just realized that there aren't any games on the horizon that I even remotely care about getting. And I haven't gamed in fucking weeks. I only fired up TF2 during the MtP shit to get that item.
I don't know man, guns of icarus is looking pretty promising
Never even heard of it. I just haven't been interested in playing em. My current life is basically hanging with friends, listening to good music, bridge jumping, and chasing pussy. Big difference from this time last year where I gamed all day.
I know what you mean. I haven't cared all that much about video games in years.
I haven't cared all that much about video games in years.
Freak.
I know what you mean. I haven't cared all that much about video games in years.
I don't know how I lived before this year. I've done so much new shit in just five months than I ever did before. Tried new food, hung out with people, went off-roading in a mini-van, etc.
Alright, so, I'm trying to use this XBOX controller, and it won't turn on. So I'm going to install some 32-bit drivers, and it says I can't have enough storage space. I have 4 GB free.
