Recording what?
Audio, your desktop?
Just wondering, my headset has built in bass that i can turn off or on with a slider, would having it on make sound clearer in games or having it off?
O2 network goes down, twitter has turned into a shit flinging session between Orange/TMobile/Vodafone users and O2 users. Hilarious.
When I get home I'm going to try to find a way to increase the bass output on my desktop.
Compared to my laptop which would blow my ears off with it, my desktop has the bass of a piss ant.
I don't count on it to be able to be raised though, apparently "srs premium sound" is Godly compared to the poopy Realtek sound card in my desktop according to what I've read.
After 2 days of being home and not turning on my desktop, I finally got on and figured out how to do it.
There wasn't a bass boost option anywhere, but I fucked around with the Realtek equalizer till I got the results similar to my laptop.
:v:
I feel a little illiterate because I've stared at the equalizer before and was thinking "what the fuck is this *messes with a slider* OH GOD THAT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE TOOK A SHIT ON MY HEADPHONES"

Microphone?
I know Audacity does that, but I'm never sure how good Audacity's recordings are.
Man, fucking shit day today.
Was driving my lowered BMW, went to go get lunch in an asian plaza. Parking space was small, and there was one of those curbs. Parked alright, and when I backed out, it must have hooked the damn metal thing on my front bumper. Nearly tore it apart and the Oil Cooler. :( Plus, it sounded loud so i made a fool of myself in front of a bunch of chicks.
That being said.
Dell Quote:
U2711(New) @ $805
U3011(New) @ $1,085
U2410(New) @ $475
Newegg has the U2711 onsale for $749.99 right now. But I don't have to pay tax if I get direct from my supplier.
Maybe I could do a group buy, and get some additonal discount?
EDIT:
On topic. I think this is normal, right? ( Dual E5620 ).

HNNNG. Dell U2711 or U3011 + some sort of work laptop ( zenbook prime ), or Retina MBP + dell U2410, or a U2711 later on. Maybe a cat leap.
Why get a U2711 or a U3011.
Inputs?

DVI, VGA, HDMI, displayport, S-Video. Want more?
Edit: I better go to bed. And it was a joke.

Wait what? I asked if inputs was the reason he wanted on.
I owned three of them, I know all about them.
My mom is a teacher and she wants to get a tablet and a mini-projector to be able to show videos and pictures to a student/students/a class anywhere she is, the budget is about 7000SEK or $1000.
Only requirement is that the projector connects to the tablet and that the whole setup is reasonably portable. I haven't been following the tablet market at all since I have no interest in getting one and I was only vaguely aware that small portable projectors existed so I'm a bit lost here, would appreciate some help.

As much as people will hate me for it, an iPad would be perfect. I've seen them used in person on a projector and they work amazingly.
I've never heard of an Android tablet being used like that, but it's one of the uses Apple advertises the shit out of.

That's the first idea that popped into her head, me being blindly anti-apple went "no get an android" and then it fell on me to pick the tablet and projector.
I don't really doubt that the ipad might be a good choice but if getting a cheaper android tablet means a better projector then that might be worth considering.
Also still no idea on what projector to pick.
I can't believe that the OUYA is at $3.5 million dollars.

VGA: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC552

I agree with deeps on the iPad, my college has some and they are fantastic with projectors
